why is Milan in 11th place???

pardon my ignorance, but who is IFFHS?
When and where was this list published? I looks suspicious for many reasons.

thats supposely the official club ranking for fifa or something like that i'm not sure but its supposed to be the most reliable list for club ranking... here is the website www.iffhs.de and it came out this month

These rankings from those statisticians often come up with results like that, they chose a formula for calculating it...Obviously on the pitch Milan and Newcastle are not the same. A team like Lyon have achieved more than they are given credit for, etc.
If based on direct results it wouldn't look anything like that .

Whats that saying? I forget the exact saying buts it something like:
'Lies, Lies and Statistics'
