Panthers

Hi all,
I live in the uk and went to the derby on sun. It was impossible to get tickets here and I was expecting to pay well over 100 euros possible up to 200.
walking to the ground we were approached by an elderly man offering tickets. they turned out to be genuine (well we got in) and only 60 euros!!

we showed our tickets and were directed to the 2nd ring in the curva sud. we thought we were lucky to get the tickets but to be standing(we were packed in so tight there was no option to sit) there was incredible.

i have a few questions and would be gratefull if anyone could answer them.

were we just lucky with the tickets? or were they fake or perhaps such high prices are a myth

we were standing next to a very well organised group who had lots of panthers insignia on flags and caps ( is this a specific group within the ultras of milan or just another name applied to the ultras as a whole)

at one point we were all covered with a huge banner. in the newspaper the banner appeared to be of someone similar to albert einstien. could someone please tell me exactly what the banner related to.

all in all it was a fantastic time. initially it was imposing because of the crush of people, flares etc. but everyone was friendly and it was a good atmosphere. it was also strange to see the same clothes that you see on terraces in england i.e belstaff and stone island.

So my friend. You need the expert to explain to you.

1: You where lucky to find a ticket for 60 euros. Consider Milan where playing 'away' cuz the fixture was inter-Milan, so our supporters had only the second blue ring section.

2: That section is the section where Milan ultras (hardcore fans) sit. Before each derby or anyother important game they make a correogrophy.
http://www.fdl.it/image/foto/04-05/foto610.htm

These are done either to demonstrate Milan's dominance or to insult inter. Since inter doesn't win a league till 1989 and a champions cup since 1965, Milan supporters said 'there is no solution for inter so to be champions' Einstein was there just to show that neither Einstein will have a solution for them

Hi there, actually a friend of mine saw three Scotsmen in kilt looking for a place inside the Curva inside the Balcony but giving up, maybe you're one of them? It'd be a funny coincidence. It's obvious they didn't, that part is packed even 2 hours before the kick off, and even more. You have to go the the gates opening to find room there. Usually it's between 5 and 6 pm if the match is at 8.30 pm

Btw Panthers are a small group just upside the Balcony section..I know where you sat ..it's just upside the Brigate/ Fossa core..you may have noticed that Curva is dividedinto two branches: the lower part called Balcony section or BALCONATA (or even better TRANSENNA) where Brigate Fossa Vecchia Guardia and Alternativa sit, and the upper part with smaller groups such as Panthers..They have a nice logo, but they are a minor group..I personally sit inside Brigate but i like Fossa as well. I think the thoughest guys sit inside Brigate in general..
