I think it is appropriate to discuss the visit to Arena AufSchalke to face Schalke 04 first rather than discuss PSV's visit to Milano.

PSV don't have a chance against Milan this time. Too many players of PSV are gone and we don't have any strikers: Vennegoor is suspended, Robert is injured and Koné is not allowed to play in the CL.
We also have some very tough matches in the Eredivisie. In a few hours we will play against the no.1 AZ and after the Milan game against Ajax.

VMK, I agree. But PSV is very strong in a Milan weaknes, set pieces(sp?)...I saw in your site that Alex had a knee injure, is he playing in good conditions?? Last year PSV defence was great, how they are playing this year w/ the new aditions??? You have any idea about your line up for the game??? Thanks

PSV - AZ 3-0 We're back on top of our league now, although Feyenoord will probably be 1st after their match this afternoon. Still we had a great evening yesterday. Good victory vs AZ and Ajax drawing vs Heracles Almelo.

Alex should be fine for wednesday. Our defence with Alex is OK but not as good as last year. Which really applies to our whole team in CL. (with Koné our offence could have been a little better)
Too bad Koné isn't allowed to play in the CL because he was stunning yesterday.

I'd be really happy with a draw vs you guys wednesday. We really lack attackers because Koné isn't allowed to play before 2th round and Vennegoor's red card vs Fenerbahce. We'll probably play Robert, who hasn't been all that impressive (although I have to admit he didn't get that much chances, but that probably has got a reason). Farfan will probably be our most dangerous attacker.

Another problem we've got is that our young talent Afellay (offencive midfielder) is in Ramadan (because he's a muslim) atm which caused him drop out early vs AZ, after 60-70 minutes he started to get muscle cramps just like Koné who's also in Ramadan. The match on wednesday is at 20:45 and yesterdays match was at 19:30 so the problem might be not so big.

I'm going for 1-1. We'r not yet the team we were last year but we still got our big boss Guus (who always comes up with a good tactical plan), and great players like Cocu, Alex and Farfan to name a few.

TLN will have the game live

and O_o, no it might not be a difference for muslims if its 20:30, because, we can only eat after the sun sets, for example, here in montreal canada, the sun sets at 6:10pm.. but in Milan i think it sets at 7:30.. im not sure if the coach will allow the player to eat 1 hour before the game, it'll make him full! he might let him just have some carbohydrates to give him some energy

Well he would make a BIG difference! Coz now we have not much options for the attack, Beasley will probably play and he's not really CL-material, Farfan is ok but he's lightly injured (still think he'll play) and possibly Robert (like I said, he hasn't played that much, so not sure bout him, but probably not up to CL-standards either because he would've played more if he was).
Kone is not yet a goal scoring machine but his dribbles are insane. AZ'
s 2 central defenders are in our National team (Oranje) (1 in starting line-up) and he sometimes made it look like they were not even on the pitch when we played vs AZ on sathurday. We've payed big money for him but he'll be worth every penney. I hope you'll see him play in the 2th round ;

Still I think a draw is possible for us even now when we lack a decent attack. Or maybe It's only hope.
