that would be a great swoop but i dont think that will happen. I only read in goal.com that vogel might go for a loan to man united and even that aint for sure yet.

Ufff....when I read Giuseppe, I though Milan signed Bergomi to join their D.

Hopefully this rumour is true.

very unlikely rumour, Fergie has spoken of his high hopes for Rossi often and he has already forced his way into the first team squad, if he continues to progress as expected then his value in a few years will be massive (you know how highly talented youngsters are valued in England ) and they wouldnt give him away to fix a short term midfield crisis.

However Milan do have an aging defence, and Utd do have a versatile and (comparitavely) young defender who is available. How does a Vogel - Silvestre swap sound to you? we'll even throw in David Bellion to sweeten the deal

ok well.. Shevchenko[7]'s actual source is not gazzetta, but it is another forum - xtratime. He got it from Diavolo. Here's parts of what else Diavolo mentioned:

Quote:
On his first live interview on the radio, Giuseppe said that he believes that this move might indeed help his chances of playing for the Italian NT.
He added that he had a great time in Manchester and that he will always remain a fan of Utd
Quote:
All I can say that on www.milaninter.fm Giuseppe has just given a live interview, other than that, given the furious reactions United fans, maybe the United board is just gaining some time

Anyway, this deal might even be riscky for us, since we have lost depth in midfield, gaining perhaps a new talent and anyways not till next season
Quote:
First words by Giuseppe: "In thanking Manchester United and in particular Alex Fergusson for allowing me to play in Italy, that should increase my chances of playing for the Italian NT squad in the future, having said that my family and myself have always rooted for Roma, I have always admired Milan and as a kid I was always watching tapes of Italian football with the milanese team being close to invincible" "I know that I still have a lot to prove, but time is on my side"
he also mentioned something that it is on www.milaninter.fm - his interview.

Yeah this is a very good descision we need a 5th striker and hes young too !!!!!!!!!!!!!! and italian

1. Shevchenko - 29 years old

2. Gilardino - 23 years old

3. Amoroso - 31 years old or something

4. Inzaghi - 31 years too i think

5. Giuseepe rossi - young i know i think hes under 20 we have so much talent we need this man

Vogel is useless sell him ........ we dont need him

no chance in hell rossi would be involved in that deal if anything, vogel will be loaned out or we would get someone like a silvestre. I like Vogel I think hes a solid player but rossi has the potential to do great things. He and Rooney could potentially make a very good attacking duo up from for manu

I think this is a not as good a move as we first thought it was. Rossi is excellent dont get me wrong, but with Ambro injured, we will certainly lack depth in midfield.
