Milan - Cagliari...26^ Giornata

So, the next game is Milan - Cagliari. Gazzetta Dello Sport at the moment gives following line up:

-----Inzaghi------ Gilardino------
-------------Kaka--------------
---Seedorf--- Vogel--- Gattuso---
Serginho--- Maldini--- Stam--- Simic
--------------Dida------------

Do you think maldini will play? He was planned for the match with Reggina, but felt pain on the training before the game...Maybe he should save himself for the game with Bayern?

It's too early to even suggest a line up now. The game is not untill the up-comming weekend and some of the injuries are a day to day. Maldini and Sheva for example. If Maldini can go he will probably be selected because it is good to get him a game before Bayern. If he does not play against Cagliari then I don't see a possible way for him to play against the Germans. However it is too early now. There is 6 days to the game.

....It is dissapointing to know that we will be without Cafu for a long time now.

If maldini doesnt play this one,he wil not play in Munchen.aNd now it looks like he will not. Sheva can play for maybe a half, its enough.Nesta also. so maybe something like this.....
-----------------dida-------
--simic--stam---kaladze--serginho
--------------vogel------
--gattuso------------seedorf/Rui takes on in the second
--------------rui costa/ kaka' in in the second---
----------gila/sheva------pippo
Pirlo is on SPECIAL training regime to get him fit again, so just maybe he will play some decent football in Munchen.

Yes, I don't think Carlo will risk those who are coming back from injuries... Maybe Paolo would start (only if he feels 100%) but be replaced if he feels even a little bit of pain...

Being a home game, I'd say the line up could be:

Dida
Stam, Costacurta, Kaladze, Serginho
Gattuso, Vogel, Rui Costa, Kaka'
Inzaghi, Gilardino

let's make it Seedorf/Rui Costa then...

I just thought Clarence could use a rest...

with rui cosrt and stam banned we need to change a bit.....dida-simic-costacurta-kaladze-serginho-vogel-gattuso-jankulovsky-kaka-gila-pippo. Too bad Rui is suspended becouse kaka' cant get any rest this way. MAybe marek can replace seedorf so clarence can be fesher for Munchen, kaka will be ok,he has enough energy in him left.

mrki: how do you know Pirlo is on a special training program? I didnt read that anywhere.. but i sure would expect it. Its very important to get him into form for Bayern, but im not too worried when we have a player like Vogel available. The only mistake Carlo can do is playing an off-form Pirlo instead of an in-form Vogel. Hope he has the guts to have Pirlo as a sub if he is not match fit.

Maybe this is also a game that Marek can finally have his 90 minutes. I hope for his sake that he puts in a good performance, he's been given dozens of chances already and still is yet to perform. Whats going on with Ambro? We need him for the rest of the season. I think Marek should take Seedorf's role and take the full 90 minutes, and keep Seedorf for Bayern. Im convinced that a fresh Seedorf will give Bayern ALOT of problems.

We might finally see maldini for part of the 2nd half. This definitely is a game for Amoroso to prove his worth. Hope he's given a chance. I would really like to see 4 of our strikers have a half each for this game. (im curious to see an Amoroso-Sheva partnership). Its crucial for Inzaghi to have a part in this game just to see that his performance against Reggina was no fluke.

Kaka should not play for the whole game, because it always affects his performance in the next game. I dont expect us to play all our four strikers though, i expect us to switch to a lone striker system later in the game. Thats typical Carlo style getting prepared for a midweek champions league game.

Here's my lineup:

Dida

Simic - Nesta - Kaladze (Maldini) - Serginho

Rino -- Vogel -- Jankulovski

Kaka

Amoroso(gila) - Sheva(pippo)

It was on acmilan.com...somewhere...not sure if it was on the ticker, or in one of the press confrence reports, but he is on a special programme...what that means..who knows..could be that he is being taught how to tackle?

Sheva got injured in the Cagliari game for a month, exactly 1 year ago :/ that was when Crespo excelled for us.. most notably against Man U and Roma
