bahhhh, he's got no right foot !
![]() dont worry Gio, Utd will take good care of his development he'll be in the first team fully from next year if he stays on schedule, and hopefully within a few years he should be forming a scarily talented attacking trio with Ronny and Rooney. Maybe he'll be in the Italy squad by the 2010 world cup?

so far he seems to be a model pro, the Utd players and management have had nothing but good things to say about him so far. According to Fergie he has an American attitude to sport and winning. For the record he has 26 goals in 22 reserve games this season, and 4 in his 11 appearances for the first team (though many of those 11 were as a late sub)

did he already play for Italy under-XX team? or can he still choose to play for USA?
I think being developed in England, under the Man Utd. people and Fergie should contribute to make him, at least, well mannered...

I hate to think about Giuseppe Rossi... a young and bright italian talent should be ours, not of Man U...

but i reckon in england young talents can grow up and improve better because they have less pressure and less distractions
in italy all the tv showgirls (you know, italian tv is packed with these girls ) want to find a football player because they are young, rich and often good looking. sometimes they get lost between a disco and another party (adriano rules , he's always dicking around in milanese clubs )basically the plan is this: due to the fact fergie stole us before he could get professional, we'll steal rossi once the hard work to make him improve is done. quid pro quo ![]()

Yeah, but you will remember that Michael Corleone was a war hero for the US military...
until he met a beautiful Siciliana... maybe we need to introduce G.Rossi to a nice Italian girl... I am sure he knows the Azzurri represent a lot more than the US team (with all due respect also)

Does the residency rule still exist?
It used to be the case that if a player played in a country for 5 years without becoming an International then they can switch to their new 'home' in which case, you might be seeing a lot of this ![]()

Now I am a fan of the US national team, but can someone explain why he would want to play for the Americans? I think he will end up in Italy, although I would love to see a young talent like that with the USA. There will probably be a battle for him, I think he will choose Italy because of the football tradition.
