Just wondering why nobody start to write about Lecce - Milan game this weekend??

Maybe all Milanisti were overconfident that we will for sure win the game??

I predict 3-0 for Milan.....

I say REST ALL starters for the CL game, which is merely TWO days after this match.

yes I agree , starters should definitely have rest, it is very crucial!, I felt soem of them were pretty tired in Lyon, especially kaka.
Even if we draw with lecce, the game on tuesday is OF TOP IMPORTANCE

Yeh well i think inzaghi and gila should start i think with rui costa and vogel.

Obviously resting Sheva, Kaka' and Pirlo, and if necessary like against Empoli introduce em in the second half.

I still think Milan should chase 3 pts, both to keep pressure on Juve and for some form as we were pretty ordinary overall against Lyon.

Hopefully we can score twice in the first half and cement the result, and then focus completely on the return leg against Lyon.

Considering we have only drawn twice this season at home, u'd like to think we'll go through. If we don't take our chances as we didn't do in the opening leg, could live to regret it. I was surprised Sheva didn't get a hat-trick, not often he misses three solid chances, full credit to Coupet as well though.

I dont know who will play as a CB next to kaladze, as Carlo said Costacurta will be RESTED ( im afraid Billy will play against Lyon gain, im not up for that...), nesta and serginho are suspended. Sheva will not be available for this one. If Carlo decides to play sedorf he should play 45 min, not more. than put rui on his place and kaka on AM. Stam isnt ready yet, maybe Maldini will be in lineup, but m not sure he has power for 90 min. but he can surely work 60 min on the CB position. Pirlo needs to be rested, and I can see Cafu in the squad finaly!! Maybe he can have a go for 20-25 min.

This fixture poses an intresting problem for Carlo, and I am anxious to see the starting 11, and the squad.

I agree with most that Rui, Vogel and Marek should feature, though this is definately not our best midfield...with Ambro out, it means Rino may have to play...something I would rather avoid. (He like the other 1st teamers needs a rest)

As to the defense, wow...I leave that to Carlo..but Nesta and Kaladze should get a break...but to be replaced by whom? Cafu isnt match fit, and neither is Maldini...hmmmm..yup, I am clueless on this one..

The forward line is easy, Gila, with Amoroso to get his first start, and to cop a brace vs the southerners.

I confess to not being confident about the result of this match, seeing on how close the UCL game is on Tuesday, and knowing we will have to rest key players.

This is where coaching and the strength of the bench will come to the fore...and I hope that they do so and overcome this Lecce team.

how many times has Amoroso played? Like once! OMG, throw him away, or give him a chance.!.!.

Take a desition, they throw him away or they give him a chance?
I think they should give him a chance against Lecce, i mean it's not such a hard rival, and if he does good, he could be an alternative in the attacking line for last Serie A matches (if we are still going in the CL).

from acmilan.com ancelotti stated that amoroso and maldini may start, simic will definitely start, and nothing else.. he also said the players that play best in training will play.. everytime he says that he plays a FULL 2nd string team, meaning that we will see Marzoratti, Rui Costa, Jankulovski, Vogel, Amoroso and maybe even Kalac (altho I think Dida shud play).. Cafu also may get a go in this game, I think he is set to start the Lyon game, and so is Maldini..

I think that will be a big prob to play with a defence that hasnt played in a long time together.. Cafu , Maldini , Nesta , Serginho (Stam possibly will be fit).. I really dont know who to chose between Stam/Serginho.. Serginho has been ever so important to us this year with us assists, and we all know how great Stam can play at CB, but the prob is we need an offensive RB, like last-yrs Cafu, BUT Cafu has not shown ANY signs this year that he can run alot any more.. Also Kaladze has been playing admirably, maybe he will play against Lecce cuz Carlo knows he is not going to play against Lyon? I dunno.. Ancelotti will have a tough choice to make.. I just hope Gila doesnt start the Lyon game..

I think Nesta is suspended for a game no???? I think we might get a lost today. Not that matters for most of u folks thinking we lost the league already.

maybe MArek can play as a LM, and Kaladze as a LB behind him. This one is gonna be interesting for sure.
