AC Milan president Berlusconi to make £15M Ibrahimovic bid

AC Milan president Berlusconi to make £15M Ibrahimovic bid
tribalfooball.com - July 18, 2006

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi is ready to back coach Carlo Ancelotti's judgment and move for Juventus striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Swede won't consider dropping into Serie B with Juve, but his poor form over the last 12 months has cooled the interest of several long-term suitors, including Chelsea and Real Madrid.

Reports last week stated Ibra had already agreed personal terms with Inter, but with patron Massimo Moratti targeting Fiorentina striker Luca Toni, Ancelotti is convinced now is the time to move for the striker.

Berlusconi is confident he can persuade the Turin giants to cash-in with a bid of £15 million - a year ago Juve wouldn't have considered selling the Swede for less than three times that amount.

"hope this is true, he is a gr8 player"

if this is a double post plz delete

I wouldn't bet on this being true as it's been reported by tribalfootball.com. From what I understand Zlatan is on his way to Inter, and if he is not better than what he has shown the last year and in the World Cup for Sweden, then that's fine with me...

Tribal Football aren't a source I take seriously.

I'm not an Ibrahimovich fan either tbh.

I am starting to like your lineup Mystik.
With the exception that Maldini will be there next to Nesta, Janku will be in place for ZeRoberto and Serginho playing Suazo's role

I hope NO. He's garbage and just a ball room dancer and his face just tells you punch me. I don't want a person which I really hate. BTW Sweden's problem at the world cup was scoring goals and he was their striker....

What about Seedorf? He is as good as Ze Roberto, maybe even better...

Always good to have a good possible replacement.. besides Ze Roberto is free AND played with Kaka for Brazil.

Disagree, disagree, disagree....respectfully that is . A "garbage" player does not have an immediate impact on a league as difficult as the serie a. On the contrary, all players have ups and downs in form, even "garbage" players. I think Ibra is a proven player, who on form (i.e. 2004-2005 season) can be devastating. Sure, he's not the finished article, but given the right environment, this guy could be really special. Sure, he had a pretty crappy second half of season. In fact, he had a horrible World Cup. BUt so what? The guy still has enough quality. In fact, this might be a good situation for us. His price/demand would certainly come down given his recent performances, and if we are smart, we should be able to sign him for a bargain (compared to how much he would have costed last year).

Just read (http://sports.alice.it/it/cmc/calcio...cmc_98936.html) that Inter want him on loan for the next season.
IMO he is much better than El Niño and less expensive. But his demeanor on the pitch is something to worry about...
