AC Milan Prediction League 2006/07

Sorry, I don't know should I start this thread , but you know, the first game (AC MILAN - red star belgrade) is approaching...

i remember first game between milan and red star , back in 1988[not so sure] , 1-1 at milano , and the retur on belgrad, it's a game i'll never forget , the emotions , the feelings , it was the game that make me a rosso - nero for life.

It would be cool to do this! This was actually the way I got hooked into football

Yes, it was a good idea to start this Rayno. I don't know who will be the manager this season, if Goirre can't I can do it. In the mean time I will go over the rules, an exact copy of Goirre's from last year

The rules:

1) If you correctly predict who is going to win (or if it’s going to end in a draw), you receive: 10pts

2) If you correctly predict the exact score, you receive: 20pts (in this case Rule 1 applies no more)

3) If you correctly predict the scorers, you receive: 5pts for each one correctly predicted

4) If you correctly predict the exact score PLUS the exact scorers, you receive a bonus of: 10pts

5) Just for participating you receive: 5pts/per match (this way those who participate constantly will be rewarded with this bonus)

Some IMPORTANT tips:

1) Submit predictions of scores and scorers BEFORE each match kick-off (predictions made after kick-off will not be accepted)

2) When writing down the names of the players who you think will score, if you think a player will score twice, write his name twice or indicate 2 next to his name. Same applies for hat-tricks and so on.

3) Predict for ALL Milan official matches (Coppa Italia matches, Champions League matches and Serie A matches)

4) Try not to miss any predictions, but especially when it comes to big matches, some of them (especially toward the end of the season) will count double! So you don’t want to miss them.

5) If you think you won’t be able to make predictions for coming matches, but you still want to participate, just PM me your predictions in advance and I will count them.

And remember, all predictions are to be accepted only BEFORE each match kick-off!

Our defending Prediction League Champion is ilgenio.

Any questions or comments please post here or just PM me. Also, be sure to let me know if you have ANY suggestions/complains at all regarding the rules.

Do your best and lets have fun! Good Luck and FORZA MILAN!!

First match:

AC Milan - Red Star Belgrade

I will make my prediction the day before, as I am not sure if we will get any new players before then.

Does anyone know when the fixture list for the 2006/07-season will be announced?

I'm not sure. I would have posted it already if it was, but since they postponed the season I don't think it will be for a while.

Let me get this started.

AC Milan - Red Star 2-0

Goal Scorers: Pippo, Kaka

AC Milan - Crvena zvezda 3-0
ACM: Pirlo, Pippo 2x

AC MILAN - crvena zvezda 2 - 0
Pippo Inzaghi
Clarence Seedorf

AC Milan - Red Star 3-1

Zigic, Inzaghi, Kaka (x2), in that order.

Don't forget to play, the match is tomorow.

Milan vs RSB 2-0
Inzaghi
Gila

Milan 3 (gila 2, kaka)

red star 0

Wait... You can't kick start the PL without the defending champion

Milan 2 (Pippo, Kaka)

Crvena Zvezda 0
