Drogba Linked With AC Milan
Drogba Linked With AC Milan
Chelsea striker Didier Drogba was having dinner in a Milan restaurant on Monday when by happenstance he ran into AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani. A brief conversation ensued, during which Galliani allegedly asked Drogba if he would like to join the Rossoneri, who are in search of a striker after Andriy Shevchenko left, coincidentally, for Chelsea this summer. Nobody knows why Drogba was in Milan, which only adds intrigue to his chance run-in with Galliani. So far, Drogba has outscored Shevchenko two goals to one in the Premiership, and at the weekend Drogba came off the bench to score a goal with a wonderful individual effort in a win over Blackburn. Italian media speculate that Galliani has taken the chat with Drogba and run, contacting the Blues to discuss the striker's availability. If the rumors are true, AC Milan are prepared to offer 30 million Euros for Drogba. |

I am so confused right know, This constant changing of our tranfer objectives is not good for the harmony of th club also.I think this effects in negative way the players also.We were so concetrated in this transfer issue that we didnt have the chance to talk about our strikers, I dont remember when we did mention Pippo and Gila for the last time. Anyway I think Drogba can be useful for this team, and his playing really good in the begining the season, and he had decent World Cup.I think this could be it, If Mourinho lets him go which I doubt, couse he will be short of strikers than. |

Of course.. .Why not Andriano?? I think Drogba cannot help us as much as Andriano, either Ronaldo. I'm very confident about our future! We can win the championship and the Champions League!!

From BBC....
Drogba in transfer speculation Didier Drogba Drogba met with AC Milan's vice-president Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba has sparked new speculations of a possible transfer to Italy. The Chelsea player was spotted talking to AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliano in a Milan restaurant on Monday. Drogba, who scored in Chelsea's 2-0 Premiership win at Blackburn, is on holiday in Italy, as his national side have no game in this weekend's African Cup of Nations qualifiers. Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport said Galliani, who reportedly spoke with Drogba for 15 minutes, may be prepared to table a bid of $38.4 million for the powerful 28-year-old forward. Milan reluctantly sold Andriy Shevchenko to Chelsea last month and will start the new Serie A season with an eight-point deficit. They were found guilty of match-fixing during the 2004-05 campaign. Drogba signed for Chelsea for $45.6 million in July 2004 from Marseilles and scored 16 goals in 40 games in his debut season, helping them to their first league title for 50 years. He also ended up as the top provider of goals in the Premiership last season, with 11 assists as Chelsea retained their title. But Drogba had hinted that he might leave the Premiership due to what he considered as unfair treatment by the English media. |

Hey guys... Milan is Milan!! We must not be happy for players like Oliveira!! He is a B-class player. We have 48 more hours to buy a good player who will help us this year. But no Oliveira or Drogba or Robinho! Ronaldo would be a good adittion because he has the experience and the skills for our team. Pippo and Gilla are alone at the moment so we must do something GOOD IMEDIATELLY !!!!!!

I like both oliveira and drogba. And the last one is far from bad, look at him performing in chelsea (i think mourinho conditions are hard for strikers, their play is sometimes scrappy as hell) and for national team. He is strong, he can finish quite nice with foot and head (and knee against arsenal lol) and he can play good in box or 20m out. For a smart price i would be happy if any of those 2 come.

No way. I don't mind Drogba coming, not at all! He's powerful, can be fast and good with headers.
Judging by the number of threads we now have for transfers, Milan has successfully shaken up the transfer market and the media, subsequently adding more confusion and weirdness to this silly season. Not claiming that I know of Milan's transfer tactics, but because of this too, don't you think that Milan has opened up so many options? It gives us an idea of how much the player is worth in the market, the availability of the player, any swaps or loan deals needed, plus other clubs interested surfacing up once again. All these stallings are quite good tactics too because the timing of the situation definitely plays a lot with transferring a player. ![]() |

Drogba is a helluva player. Anyone who claims he's crap doesn't know what they're talking about. He's big, he's strong, he's fast, he's skillful, he's good in the air and he's got a powerful shot. But that's exactly why Chelsea isn't looking to sell him. He and Sheva make a wonderful team and I doubt Mourinho would be too anxious to break them up so soon.
