Milan - Ascoli, September 20

The next game is three days from now, hurry with the coments concerning th game,
Personaly I think this will be an easy one, if "easy" exists in the football dictionary these days. I think its a good chance to start the game with both Oliveira and Gourcuff,to give them a chance to prove themself and adapt easily.
I would play also Gila if available for the game.Poor guy, his so unlucky.

Dida
Cafu Nesta Maldini Janku

gattuzo Pirlo Gourcuff
Kaka

Gila/Pippo Oliveira

I think this would be nice,we can play also Bonera as central

I would give Oliveira a rest now so we dont burn him out. That may not be possible though if Gila is still out.

I agree that Oli should be rested for this game ... maybe come one in the last 30 min or so depending on how the game is going.
Also doubt Nesta would be played given his muscle problem and the way Simic has been performing lately.
Hopeing to see:
Dida
Cafu, Simic, Maldini, Janku/Favalli
Brocchi, Pirlo/Ambro, Gourcuff
Kaka
Pippo, Boriello

Why not give Borriello a start along with Pippo. He has definitely improved his game as compared to a cpl of seasons back. So I believe it might be a good chance for him to prove himself.

Just a bit off topic, did any one check out roma's game against siena? the part when totti was subbed? HE just walked towards Spalletti as if he was gonna spit on him.. Spalleti nonchalantly just kicked him away. Just too artistic..

Starting 11 will depend on injuries, and the fact how serious they are.

Tehere shuldn´t have to be problem with defence, with Cafu, Bonera, lately exellent Simic, and Kaladze back, midfield is he strongest part of squad with Pirlo, in-form Seedorf, Kaka, Gourcuff, Gattuso.... And attack with Pippo if his condition improved, and Oliveira who has to play this "small" games to get used to italian football. Ths kind of matches are also good for resting some of the players.

So for me starting 11 for Ascoli game

-----------Dida--------------

Cafu--Simic--Kaladze--Maldini

-----------Pirlo--------------

--Rhino------------Gourcuff--

----------Kaka---------------

---Pippo---------Oliveira------

Well, some people thought our last game would be easy ...
I also think that Oliveira should be rested and brought on as a sub, perhaps it will give him more incentive to paly? Hopefully some of the problems with him adapting to Serie A will be addressed over the coming weeks. I was thinking that Gourcuff could have started last night, maybe in palce of Kaka, as Seedorf wasn't really quick and precise enough to fill that role. Maybe Borriello could come on when we have a comfortable lead, though he has proven himself in the TIM tournament.

A win, and an emphatic one at that puts us on the plus side (points wise). Is it just me or does Milan seem like a team on a mission? The Chemistry especially from the midfielders is awesome. If this level of play is sustained, we will win the scudetto.
