seriously, we beat Lyon several times during the last years and we have eliminated Manchester United last year.

Were not overconfident, usualy the easiest group on paper is the thoughest one.

all right guys ! I was just refering to the answers on this forum when the groups had been announced.
I realise Milan AC is playing on another ground.
Dunno about AEK these days, Anderlecht might be dangerous as they have good players and do not have to deploy much efforts in their championship.
Lille is, I believe, the outsider for the 2nd position.
we play our 3rd CL in 5 years which is good regarding our past 20 years.
for history: Lille used to be a big club in the fifties
Now it becomes the challenger of Lyon, growing slowly.
we had created the surprise by beating Parma on their ground 5 years ago and thus eliminating them from CL. We did the same for the Fiorentina.
I will come to Milano (devo ricordarmi il mio italiano allora )
Our best players are A Keita, J2 Makoun, Bodmer and Tafforeau.

Lille's right back has had an impressive start to Ligue 1, even though he did get sent off in the last match.

Fanni is very quick and skillfull, a bit like a young cafu i guess. Our left-back will have to be on his guard.

Lille is really good team, next Lyon I would say, they are so quick in transforming the game from one alone striker to three stikers , i watched them couple of times and they are good. They have three strikers that are close to becoming world class players, and I mean it,I dont think Lille will make us big troubles, cuz I think we can afford to loose two points or in the worst case all three, but they will be trouble for the other teams once they pass the group. I even have they`re two players in my Uefa Champions League Fantazy football.

Lille's defending against Bordeaux was slack to say the least, so they will need to improve that area if they want to beat us. Either that or hope we have a bad day or that all our shots go wide

They can cause us problems and will be more of a threat than AEK, so we need approach the came with a strong line up, confidence and a touch of awareness and hopefully it should see us through.

Lille is probably the most dangerous team of the group; technical players with great physical skills and great pace. We have to put a good performance next week if we want to avoid surprises.

Just watch we will be linked to any and every body from Lille and end up signing none of them. Just like Lyon, must be Milan mind games LOL

Lille look for goalscoring salvation

LOSC Lille Métropole scored only one goal at home in last season's UEFA Champions League but they remained unbeaten in France - winning 1-0 against Manchester United FC with the other two games ending 0-0 - and after securing a point on Matchday 1 against RSC Anderlecht they will be confident ahead of their match against AC Milan at the Stade Félix-Bollaert.

• Milenko Ačimovič's strike against United was actually Lille's only goal in the six group games and two weeks ago in Group H, Claude Puel's team looked to be heading for another blank at the Constant Vanden Stock before Nicolas Fauvergue's late equaliser.

• In Lille's last home game against Italian opponents they triumphed 2-0 against ACF Fiorentina in the third round of the 2001/02 UEFA Cup to seal a 3-0 aggregate win. They have not played AC Milan before and have faced only one other Italian team in UEFA competition - in the third qualifying round of the 2001/02 UEFA Champions League when, despite losing the home leg 1-0, they went through 2-1 on aggregate against Parma FC.

• After coming through the third qualifying round of European football's premier club competition, Milan got their campaign off to a great start when they scored three without reply against AEK Athens FC two weeks ago to continue their record of never having lost to Greek opposition.

Marseille memories
• In eight trips to France, Milan have lost four times and won twice. Last season they drew 0-0 against Olympique Lyonnais at the Stade Gerland before winning the home leg 3-1 to set up that semi-final meeting with Barcelona. One notable Milan defeat by French opposition was the 1-0 loss to Olympique de Marseille in the 1992/93 UEFA Champions League final, a game that featured Paolo Maldini at left-back.

My other posts about Lille playing Bordeaux and their right-back were completely wrong, i was thinking of Nice .... oops

Anyway. They have a huge squad, 30 i counted and only 4 of them are over 28! Two of the obvious dangermen up front will be Keita and Odemwingie. Last weekend they lost to Toulouse, but they were playing a 2nd string almost as they rested players after the 1st CL match.

Too bad milenko aint playing for lille anymore, as he was some of rare slovenians playing good in europe. I actually cant stand the guy, but the game would be broadcasted on television in that case...

with match against lille not so far away,who do u think shud start in the first 11.and most important of all we need a striker like sheva whu can put the ball in the back of the net.so far pippo has been delivering but we need someone to back him up in case of any mishaps.can someone please tell me which all strikers milan has this season except for pippo and gila.lookin forward to ur replies.someone please tell UEFA officials to get black and red ribbons for the trophy this seaon coz its going nowhere else
