Empoli - Milan

No more excuses, we have to win this game, if not then Ancelloti has to go.. Sorry!

We have to win every game from now on, there's no question, only thing is, how are we going to do it? I think the team morale is low enough to lose even in Pisa atm... Oh well, Forza Milan, siamo con te!

I agree this is a must win match (aren't they all?), I disagree with sacking Carlo if we lose. Turn what is a rough patch into a complete chaotic mess IMO.

Its easy to say that we have to win this game...but with our condition even this game is going to be very difficult. During the game, if we have a 1 gol lead or if we have a draw, Milan needs to be very careful with their passes and play until the last minute, not like with Roma. Ancelotti should try Inzaghi and RO to start this time. Although according to Gazzetta there is going to be the same line up as we had against Roma. And hopefully 18th of november Kaka is going to have a good day...he is now a key figure in our team and the outcomes very much depend on his performance.

Not nesecerily...although you are right: chaos is one of the outcomes, there are 2 ways possible:
1. complete chaos and even worse performance
or
2. performance may become better with help of new tactics and fresh ideas.
Both ways are equally possible, I think.

guys...i personally think dat we really need to do something with pirlo...he is just not pirlo anymore...one of the most precise kick takers the best passer i rarely see him do any of dat ..but i kno milan will win this....

Pirlo needs to get it together, yes. But it's not only him. It's the whole team. Defenders do childish mistakes; Seedorf playes too slow; Pirlo needs to start playing again; Kaka is sometimes unconsistent although i don't blame him as he has played all but 1 or 2 of our games; the forwards aren't producing what is asked from them; Cafu is an old man and can only play once in a while; Bonera is not a RB but is forced out of position; Jankulovski has no back-up now as both Serginho and Favalli are injured; We have a tree for a back-up keeper that does something ridicilous every time he is on the field (Brescia).

So as you can see, it is a lot of things that need to get together. However,despite all these problems Milan still plays good football in recent weeks except for one half against Inter.I thought Milan played superbly against Roma and certainly didn't deserve to lose. Anyway, we need to make sure that there will be no more "referry mistakes ;no more missfortunes; no more lapses of concetration; no more bad 'halfs'; NO MORE MISTAKES. Now is our last chance to pick up points. The next few games should be "easy" ones and we should WIN ALL OF THEM. That will bring back our confidence and belief that we can actuallly win games, EVEN AT HOME.

Let's see how the team reacts.

There is eseriously no point in blaming any individual; gila, oliveria, pirlo. Win is the only answer and solution.

When is Serginho coming back ? Any anticipated return date known ? He might add some unpredictibility to our gameplay which have been terribly lacking in the last games. Seriously after watching the last 4-5 games of Milan in Serie A I'm pretty sure majority of the times I could just say what pattern they are going to use to attack. It has become so predictable and many times, I emphasize, many times in a single game u'll see we run out of options in the midfield and then a right back back makes a run in the wing to whip in a poor cross out of desperation which the opposition deals with quiete easily. Sorry to say that's been the story lately.

Our playing style hasn't changed much but definitely the players have. This style might have worked with Sheva in the team, with Cafu's better performances and definitely Pirlo's great buildups. I have never been a fan of Ancellotti's felxibilty in tactics and this current situation further reinforces my belief. Somehow he is not able to find a way to fit in RO in the game or exploit Kaka's abilities to the fullest in Serie A where is he is really closely marked unlike Champ. League. Yes sure we might say RO might not have the quality or ability of Sheva, Cafu has weared out, Pirlo is going through a bad patch so is Gila and Seedorf. But Guys errors on Ancelotti's behalf outweighs the conditional probability of all these coincidences occuring at the same time, don't you think? I do agree with many of u stating that changing a coach at this time would only worsten the situation but I think changing the coach could be a better solution in the future.

As far as Empoli game is concerned it'll be good to see Gourcuff get a start, so should Brochi and Cafu, a two stiker line-up shd be good. Maybe Pippo starting and Borriello should be given more chances. I see no harm in tht, if RO gets so many shots along with Gila so shd Borriello. In these small games he might be a useful weapon.

Is it just me, or does Oli play a bit deeper sometimes - maybe too deep. So when he gets the ball, there's hardly anyone to pass to (not that he usually does).
Anyway, this is must-win game. Not only because of our plight, but also because its Empoli and we'd be expected too.

if milan win the game,it will make big different,milan is just minus 3 poin with the 10,and 6 with the 4th,so if milan win milan will up to about 13 place,and another win will make milan up to about 6th place

I don't think so, I was pretty pleased with his positioning against Roma, and the fact he went out wide to stretch their defence. I wasn't pleased about other things he did, but I thought his positioning was good.

Anyway, I feel pretty confident about this match, much moreso than any of our matches over the last month or so. Don't ask why, I have no idea where this confidence is coming from.

BTW i just read on a dutch football site that there was a fight this morning at the training between Bonera and Gourcuff, have any of you read or heard the same?

I read the same on several italian sites and rumor is Gourcuff wants to return to France even, lol, things can get even worse.

Its just a rumour. He wont go anywhere when we return on winning ways and he starts enjoing himself on and off the field in milano. Not everyone can get a dream start like Kaka did.

I've watched the highlight of Milan-Roma, and I think Oli is trying his best. He deserve a goal ( we are too ).
