Udinese vs Milan, week 18

I guess everybody's busy doing some Christmas shopping so I decided to open the thread for this match. We won both games against Udinese last season (5-1 and 4-0 if I'm not mistaken) and with our improving performances lately I hope we can take 3 points from Friuli, which is exactly what we need as a Christmas gift.

I believe Carlo will use the 4-4-1-1 formation again, but the sad thing is that Bonera will be suspended, so Simic will step up.

Hopefully we end the break on a high note. Udinese is currently one of the teams vying for 4th spot, so a win against them would be worth double. Forza Milan.

As if having 11 players out with injuries was not bad enough, now we have Bonera suspended, and Borriello also out until this doping thing is cleared...

I'll be in Scotland for the next few days vsint relatives for Xmas, but am hoping for a Milan win, which is more possible now given our recent, better performances. I hope Oli has his shooting boots on this time, isntead of some clown ones ...

Isn't this constant calling up but lack of use for the youth players actually worse for them? Seeing as they can't play in their primavera(matches on the same day/weekend)and they don't play for the first team, they probably haven't played a competitive match in forever. When they eventually get a chance they'll probably be horrible.

I think it's actually better for them as they get to train with the established players and, if they are smart, would mop up every single advice they are given.
Doubt missing a game with the youth side - games these guys are way too familiar with - will be much of a loss compared to the experience they would get just from training with the senior sqaud.
Also, just sitting on the bench and being part of the athmosphere of a serie A game would also be a plus for their developement and can only help them in the future as they would know what to expect.

At least I could get to watch some streams because of the 14:00 KO.

Well this year is different and we hope to win and to get there 3 important points , and i wish all of you merry christmas .

Udinese with 23 points are at the 5 place...This game is not going to be easy...But I think we can win it, cause our attack have improved recently . We need these 3 points.

Well, our attack hasnt improved,Gila has but we can`t expect those words from you,or can we???

Well i'll be looking for a win, and i think we can definately do it providing we dont suffer some terrible defensive lapses, Simic is coming in so lets hope for the best :P

As for our attack, i think we have to attack em and keep putting pressure in the final third of the pitch so we can create some chances. I'm sure that Gila will have some of his confidence back so he'll continue his scoring run. Hopefully the Midfield performs better and we create more chances for Gila and kaka.

In the end, we'll be hoping for 3 points this Christmas

we usually fail in the game before christmas but this time we can'Ät afford to be lazy and it seems the team has realised how serious our situation is. unfortunately our injury situation isn't getting better and we are left with 4 senior players for defence. i hope we manage to come home with 3 points to get some confidence back in the squad.
