djmisterm,

the easiest way is to get to Stazione Centrale di Milano (Central Station... your train will surely go thru there)...

once you get to Stazione Centrale, take the Metropolitana (subway... right there) to FERMATA LOTTO (Lotto Stop)... and from there just walk to the Stadium, it's a few blocks away, there are not that many signs but just ask for "Stadio Meazza" and any local can point the direction... you will see the racehorse track first, and immediately after the Stadium...

Sounds right Sant. I would add to that by saying it is the RED LINE Metro. Keep in mind that one of them has its end stop at Bisceglie... DO NOT TAKE THAT RED LINE. TAKE THE RED LINE whose last stop is Molina Dorino. BE SURE TO GET OFF AT LOTTO as Sant has stated.
