The Maldini family legend...
Yes, we lost the Derby however, the announcers had some interesting info they were tossing about.
The one guy said it sounds pretty certain that Paolo will be playing one more season. I suppose people will argue pro and con about that. Second item is regarding the next generation of Maldinis at AC Milan. Christian, who's now 10, did sign with the Milan youth team last year. Paolo has set up an agreement with AC Milan reserving the #3 jersey for Christian--If Christian does indeed make the team, he will wear #3. If he does not make the team, #3 will be retired.

I prefer him to play one more season as 4th/5th choice CB depending on who (if anyone) we get in the summer. He would provide excellent cover to our CBs and with some luck regarding injuries he won't have to play 2 games in a week too many times.

Well, Maldini did mention after Celtic he wants to stay on next season, but then just after the match today he's again said his knee is hurting.

I Just Hope & Pray Saint Paolo stays for one more season..
It would be akward watching Milan without Paolo.. but I guess its just inevitable.. everyones gotta go sooner or later.. Lets hope Young Christian will go on to continue the Family Legacy.. He has the Ultimate Teacher ( his dad duhz..! ) and is learning the ropes at the Best European Team of This Decade ( IMO atleast )

We can debate Paolo's decision from now till the end of the season, ultimately it's all up to him. What I found ALOT more interesting was the info about Christian Maldini and the legendary #3 jersey!

No one has mentioned that Paolo played his 600th serie A game yesterday...

I'd be happy for Maldini to carry on playing as a squad player - covering in defence every now and then, not always being in the first team. As we know, he isn't as fit as he used to be and we can't keep relying on him, even though he has been a loyal member of the Milan family forever. His performance on Sunday may serve as an example ...
