So has he mastered the language of his children?

Was that not why he supposedly left us? Why then would he come back? Or does the Mrs miss the designer shops as if there arent any in London.

He made his decision, let him live by it. He is no spring chicken anymore. Let us look to the future as we already have a couple of strikers his age or older. With Kaka and Gourcuff already here to play along side Ronaldo, Pirlo, Seedorf etc all we need is another young or youngish dynamic player and we would really have that wow factor that Roma had a few seasons back with Totti, Cassano and Mancini and Manchester united have now with Ronaldo and Rooney. Except we would combine that with the winning mentality we already have.

Van Basten, Boban and Sheva have their places in our history. We dont need to go backwards.

I would love to see Milan go and make another Sheva or Weah TYPE signing and go and get us an Etto or a Tevez even.

Traitor may also mean a person who betrays (or is accused of betraying) their own political party, nation, family, friends, ethnic group, religion, social class, or other group to which they may belong (see: Andriy Shevchenko). Often, such accusations are controversial and disputed, as the person may not identify with the group of which they are a member, or may otherwise disagree with the group leaders making the charge. See, for example, race traitor.

Funny, but shouldnt we just let him be?

He gave Milan some great seasons and will go down in history. Like us all, he ahd a change of heart, and went with it.

I agree with K77SH C, Eto'o or Teves would be better signings than Shev.

Completely agree. He was here and did great things for us. I thank him for that and he'll always have a special place in Milan because of that.......but he chose his path and his future and let leave him be. He left us when things were great for him and we had a very very rough season (whatever the reasons were for that although I believe he was one of thos reasons as well). Now things are rough for him......well that's how the world works. We came out of the rough ourselves without him...........now let him do the same by himself and not offer him contracts again. If he can do it great for him and I'll be happy for him....if not what can I say.....that's how life is.

Shevchenko was my favorite player when he was here and when he decided to leave us for whatever the hell reason, he broke my heart in half. And I don't easily get heart broken like that. That is the emotional reason for me not wanting him back.

In terms of what's good for our team, he shouldn't be back either. We have seen our management cheap out on the market for quite a few years now and I for one am sick and tired of it. Out of all the major transfer targets we have right now, Shevchenko is the oldest and the cheapest. Buying him would mean we can use him for like two more years and save a bunch of money that Berlusconi will use to buy his girlfriends Ferraris. We need to get younger. We need to get another superstar to pair with Kaka up front. We need a guy like Eto'o, Torres or guys like Martins. We do not need that traitor back here and we cannot let this management keep getting away with this kind of crap. They got the money, now, spend like they got those money. I cannot sit around and watch this team once again go for the cheapest thing on the market. That is not a way to build a dynasty.

Chelsea flop Andriy Shevchenko has been given permission to return to Milan, reports in England are suggesting.

The Ukrainian, who joined the Blues last year in a £30m summer move, has struggled to adapt to his new life in the Premiership and has been constantly linked with a return.

Now the Sun newspaper claims that a deal could be done for the striker, who has scored just four League goals this term.

Shevchenko is scheduled to meet Milan officials in Athens this week, where he will be a guest of President Silvio Berlusconi for the Champions League Final with Liverpool.

The forward, who had recently stated that he wanted to silence his critics in London, has allegedly asked Chelsea patron Roman Abramovich permission to leave.

The striker’s request was understood to be motivated by the club’s decision to confirm boss Jose Mourinho, whose strained relationship with the former Rossoneri ace has never been a secret.

Abramovich is ready to release Sheva with Chelsea expected to ask for a cash-plus-player deal as opposed to Milan’s request for him to join them on loan.

However, the Via Turati outfit may consider offering £12m and including Georgian defender Kakha Kaladze in the operation.

Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon had stated on Sunday that Shevchenko and Michael Ballack would not be sold.

“It’s not going to happen. We brought both these players in for three, four years,” he said. “We didn’t bring them in for a season and we knew fully well what their capabilities are.

“I’m confident they are going to be here as big players with Chelsea next season. They feel they have a lot more to give as it takes time to settle in.”

Any return for him would be ruled by the heart and not the head. We've moved on and so has he. It's time to let a new striker(s) write their name in our history books.

Isnt the Sun a tabloid?

Anyway's, that's not going to happen. No way anybody in the Milan organization will go for that. A 25-year old wonder kid for a 30-year old striker? Before you even look at the players skill's and breakdown their game, you know it's uneven.
