Andrea Pirlo.....Underated?

I am curious about what other people think. Does anyone else think that Andrea Pirlo is one of the worlds most underated players?

For me his coming out party was really during the 2006 World cup.

I guess Pirlo is a very peculiar footballer... you see, he's tremendously inteligent and lucid, a very classic and technical player, for sure, gifted with an overall vision of the game which is very rarely seem nowadays... nevertheless, he also seems to be a very aloof, 'outerworldly' person... perhaps I'm not explaining well what I intend to say... well, sometimes he simply seems to 'vanish' from the pitch, that is to say, he's not a regular, dependable performer like Gattuso, for instance.

In short: technically speakin', he's a fantastic player, but I guess he needs develop his concentration.

Yes he is underrated, I have been always praised him,but other people, I mean Ultar fans dont give him the credit that he really deserves. Barca fans for example say that Deco is much better han him, dont ask me how but that what they say, despite that Deco dont have the vision, passing acuraccy, crossing, shoting,......etc that Pirlo has

I read your signature and I didnt understand, would you please translate?

Pirlo can play only in 5 man midllefield or in 4 but with a romb formation, he isn't capablle to play in the line with two wingers, but he's so influental for Milan and Italy that he deservs highest respect even I am not big fan of him.

Stankovic destroyed him in first derby of season when Mancini put him to AMC and in defence he covered Pirlo, you all know score of that game.

Pirlo is not underrated player and however he is the best in his role in the world.

I have to disagree with Pirlo being underrrated, he is recognized worldwide as one of the best DM players in the world, another thing, Pirlo can always play and has always played in a 4 man midfield situation the thing is that though he is very good, he is in many times not felt but that makes it even better, because if when a player plays the best football is the moment when he is not felt, in the terms that he plays with fluidity and consistancy,

Like Javier Zanetti in Inter, one of the world's best right backs, but is not that noticed, because of his consistency and fluidity in the game, so its not like because he is not god, it is because he is extra good that he goes unnoticed sometimes which is a real shame for both players

Pirlo is an extra class of player....but his quiet type of player....his not hyped like some others.... got it??

he also dosnt do much off the pitch he seems a very content and quiet person unlike people that are always in the papers Pirlo is a very gentle man

I told you that Pirlo is a great player but he have huge problem when he's covered constantlly 90 minutes, he's player who need space and in the first derby last season Stankovic take space from him and he was poor in that game.
