Palermo vs Milan -- Wednesday 26/9

Best way to get over our recent home draw vs. winless Parma is by moving on.

Our players played the full 90 minutes against Parma and may be very tired. A trip to Sicily to play Palermo was never going to be easy. We need a full team for this game and we need the team to be in top shape. We can't afford to lose more points, the teams are starting to extend the gap. We have to remember what happened last year.

Forza Milan

A test for balls and nerves

Field 5 replacement (the thing we should do yesterday,we supposed to field yesterday's lineup next wednesday). The hustle for points is interrupting our rythm and blind us from big pictures.

Otherwise ,You will never get 3 throphies in same year.Courage, Carlo! the all time greatest in milan history title worth the gamble to use rotation system more;and practice the system to perfection. I think you are not miles away.

Three league goals in three appearances hardly constitutes a lack of form. Please, let's not start overreacting, okay?

I hope Ancelotti plays Emerson instead of Brochi next time, Brochi has lots of heart but that's about it...and maybe Gila upfront instead of Pippo considering how much Pippo has played within the last wk, it will definitely be a good test

BTW: Roma Vs Juve very entertaining so far, Roma up 2-1

Well, I can see two reasons why we might well win this game:

1. Palermo are at home, and they will want to attack and beat us. That means that we will probably get more space than we usually do, and probably it will be easier for us to attack as well.

2. We just had a disappointing result against Parma. If the squad morale is as high as the players claim it is, then we will want to bounce back in style now. We might see a Milan with a whole different kind of motivation than we did yesterday, and that will count for a lot.

I am optimistic about this game.

Palermo plays good football so far, kinda like at the start of last season when they've beaten you 1:2 at San Siro.
But they are still winless at home. Against Roma they were outplayed in the first half but played really good football in the 2nd half.

Their tridente (Miccolli-Cavani-Amauri) is really dangerous. That is where Milan will have to do better - the defense.

Last year Milan couldn't beat Palermo ( 1:2 in Milano and 0:0 in Palermo after Kaka missed a penalty)

It's about the time the players and the coach show that they care about Serie A. If they think the fans are happy with 3rd or 4th place they are wrong, even if it means us winning the CL. We have won the Serie A once in eight seasons, it's totally unacceptable for a club like Milan!

Palermo are a good squad, i expect them to attack, hence it will be a more "CL-like" game, meaning we have more open spaces.
However, i dont know if their attacking mentality will force us to play 2 DM's. If so, i want emerson instead of brocchi. gourcuff could start instead of seedorf or kaká, or sub them early on in the 2nd half. also, gila should start up front, i feel like he will score.
