What would you do if you were incharge of Milan?

build a new stadium in segrate and put some more youth into the side.. Redo some of the marketing so milan would get more revenue that Real madrid.

Immediately resign.

If I were in charge

If I were the OWNER (Berlu) I would have:
1) seen about getting a fast skillful LB WHATEVER the price

2) I would have gotten Aguero again WHATEVER the price

3)I would have bought Quaresma " " " "

I know that these players in total may reach nearly $200M but I can't bear Milan to go through the dark ages and with the gradual introduction of these players I think the transition would be as close to seemless as possible (one trophyless season max)

Quaresma- to cover for Seedorf/ our new LB to either get the best our of Janku or replace him. to me Quaresma is best suited to take advantage of Gila's aerial ability

Aguero- to partner Superman/ Gila/ Pippo/ Pato or even stand in for Kaka in times of injury

I would improve Milan's marketing strategy as I feel it's not aggressive enough. In Trinidad everyone has a Ronaldinho or beckham jersey...why not a ronaldo/kaka/maldini?? I'd also find a way to tap into the lucrative Asian market....even if it means posting scouts there and having one of them play for us to sweeten them up

Were I Carlo I'd :

play Gorcuff in the majority of small/meaningless copa matches to build up experience a la Wenger.

Ensure Kaka improves and takes free kicks...this is the ONLY thing that separates him form Ronaldinho now....with pros like Seedorf/Oddo/Pirlo and Ronaldo there is NO reason why Kaka can't learn to become a deadlt dead ball specialist.....he is already beginning to learn to pass as well as Pirlo and is getting as cunning as Seedorf....let's make our hero a total Monster

Marketing the team (specially in Asia) sounds like a “must do” for us, we need to increase our non TV revenues now that the serie A teams will get a collective TV agreement, and more investment on the youth system is another thing I think we need to do, we need better scouting around the world, it seems like we are a step behind compared with other big European Clubs as far as producing talent that actually make it to the first team, and given the new UEFA regulations concerning the number of home grown players that need to be inscribed on the UEFA competitions that will be even more important on the next few years.

First order of business would be to fire everyone in the accounting and marketing department. To say those guys stink at what their jobs is an understatement. We need guys who actually knows how to market our team and to find ways to help us reduce taxes.

Leonardo is a great negotiater and he is someone who really knows how to run a team. Third of all, Ancelotti will be replaced by Mourinho. No offense to Ancelotti, but he has been here for so long that he has nothing new to offer to the team. For this team to get back to the top, they need new strategies. Mourinho has the ability to mesh players together well. He is also a great tactician. And more importantly, he is not someone the players can push over. His presence in the lockeroom provides leadership.

And lastly, sign at least 7 new players and sell at least 7 old players. Make no mistake about it, I don't care how big of a homer you are to this team, you know for a fact that this team needs a major roster shake up. A new goalkeeper, left back, central defender, winger, and striker has to be installed into the starting lineup. And we should also add more depth to the wing back positions with two more additional signings. The specific players for those signings is hard to determine, so use your imaginations.

We have two of the best full backs in the World, we only need cover. Barzagli is a rubbish defender and why do we need three right backs? Montolivo isn't going to accept a role on the bench. You've changed the entire defence, with the exception of Nesta and the attack. In case you've forgotten we're European Champions. Our main problems are the bench not the first team!

Being that we are already behind all our major competitors on all fronts in terms of retooling and developing our squad...I would invest little in improving the immediate squad...i would invest heavily in youth in order to develop a squad for the next three years when all our major competitors are going down in form...i would not talk about players i dream to be in my squad i would buy them...

I would operate the club democratically...all stakeholders would have an input into decision making...including the fans...
A task force would be established to monitor the views of the supporters


If i were Carlo i would buy Daniel Carvalho from SCKA Moscow he one of the rear breed of complete footballers...he can play every where...and use Champions League football to lure Elano from Man City...and Luisao from Benfica

I would have put d1da on eBay for sale for the lowest possible price (just like a fan did a couple of months back)
