Serie A Week 11: Milan vs. Torino: the quest for C

Milan is not searching for a match-winning formula; nor an explanation for a 'crisis'. Ronaldo and Pato's absence may have hurt, but there is no reason, after watching the game against Sampdoria, that Milan is not capable of winning. Milan is capable of winning, and winning beautifully. But Milan is looking for something else, something called C.

C is the perfect answer for my roller-coaster hypothesis (win-lose-win-lose...). According to the roller-coaster hypothesis, Milan will lose next game. However, C will be the perfect panacea to the squad's motivation, and C will certainly smash the roller-coaster hypothesis.

Milan is on the journey to obtain the quest for C, the quest for Consistency.

I don't want to jinx the game by saying this, but I think we're gonna win.

Ok so it doesn't sound like a Star Wars film title Jeff, more like a Star Trek or Indiana Jones film

Star Trek and the quest for consistency

Indiana Jones and the quest for consistency

The most we can hope for is that I don't watch this match live. I missed Lazio, Shakhtar AND Sampdoria and look at what happened! Hope I''m not a blight

I Say that Milan will win the first match at San Siro at the league tomorrow...

i'd take a guess and say Milan will win with 3+ goals...

Sergihno did well as LB vs Samp lets hope he plays and does some damage vs Torino

I just hope Serginho has enough power to play another 90 min against toro. Becouse if we see Favalli we will be in trouble seeing that Oddo is still out, probably looking to get fit for Shakhtar.

my team:

.................dida...........
bonera..nesta..kaladze..serginho....
.................pirlo.............
....ambrosini....gourcuff..........
.......kaka'.......seedorf.......
.............gilardino........

It would be nice to see some brave taktics for our home games, and play pirlo-yoan-seedorf-kaka' in the middle, as we would have plenty of possesion. Rino is out of form and maybe could use some rest while Ambro is back I believe.

For CL game we will have Oddo back, while inserting Kaladze on the left and Rino in the middle.

Hi Jeff,

I am in fully agreement with your "C formula" to solve the "Crisis".

I just want to add to what you have clearly explain what Milan need to be able to climb the Serie A position which is now at 10th...what a big shame for a "European Champions, European Super Champions and World Club Champions to be in December" as said by our "Super Vice President" ..Signor Adriano Galliani

IMHO....there should be a "3 C Super Formula" which could instantly solve Milan's problem (if we could sincerely admit there is a problem)

The 3 C is like a " (Red) Devil Circle"...which C is the 1st...let us now try to place it together....
I would think that at first there was a lack of "Confidence" in front of 70% San Siro's audience (30% should be Milan's opponent fans) which were "Constantly" happened and yet so far became "Consistency" whenever Milan play in fron of the Milanisti at San Siro.

Or else, if we want to play a bit with the " 3 C " from a different analytical angle then we can easily say that Milan need to have these Cs in this order :

1. Milan must have the Confidence at San Siro...although we don't have Ibra or Crespo or Toni or any striker we may want to have at this difficult time but we have Kaka, Gila, Pirlo, Gattuso, Nesta, players that any club in this world like to have in their line up. And in January...according to Signor Galliani we will have another Star... Alexandre Pato the Super Duck who shall make Serie A defenders' feet trembling to stop him score (maybe this is the scenario in Galliani's head)

2. If we already have the "adequate" Confidence to play at San Siro against "smaller teams" who put a bus in front of their net poles then the Constant Winning at San Siro shall come automatically with no difficulty at all (bear in mind that Milan is the European Champions, European Super Champions and.....hopefully World Club Champions to be in December)

3. When Milan have those 2 Cs above...Confidence and Constant Winning which resulted in Consistency of high morale that Milan could always play 1st class winning football....no matter in home turf or away matches....in Serie A or even upto Serie Z.....Domestic (Serie A, Coppa Italia and Super Coppa) games and International games ( just name the competition/s where Milan shall play.

If all the above is not just a dream then please bring in Inter, Juve, Roma and all the smaller teams wherever they want to play at......our beloved Milan will always have 3 points in any game they play against any team in this universe.

Come on Milan.....from Dida to Kalac......Gila to Aubameyang (even Ibou )....Nesta to Favalli......Galliani to Braida........please make our dream comes true....Have the Confidence to play Constant Wining football to obtain Consistency of high morale that Milan is a REAL CHAMPIONS and not a CHAMPIONS CHICKEN (omg...I just found another C=Chicken ) at San Siro against smaller teams.

I am the 1st Milanista who really believe that Milan is not a Champions Chicken and that's why I shall bet big on Milan this coming Saturday. Another clean sheet of at least 3 goals against Torino (sorry for Rossina that he has to face Nesta who will stop him outside the box)

Hi Jeff....am I just a day dreamer to expect this to happen?

I'll even paint a big C on my face tomorrow, if that's what it takes to win at home.

Two Cs will suit you perfectly

I don't think it will be another goal feat for us. I think considering our display against Samp, Torino will opt to take a more cautious approach, which can be very frustrating. But in the end, I'm optimistic that we're going to win this match
