Benzema

According to Goal.com Lyon gives him for 34 milions, does anybody thinks that we need to pay that sum or we need to negotate.
My thinking is that we must take this price because we desperately need that kind of striker. Benzema and Pato starting in front will be killing tandem for anyone, everybody will afraid of us.

I relly hope benzema will play for milan becose hi is the kind of player we need, and the price is not a problem for berlusconi. we are the world champions and we should not be so modest

I'm usually very careful about these supposed new youth wonders. But i must say that, despite the hype around this player, and despite having seen not very much about him, from what i saw i think he'll become a top striker.
He seems the missing chain between Henry and Trezeguet.

This guy is absolutely perfect for us. He is the next superstar striker in the whole world. I would absolutely love to see him wearing a Milan jersey. As for whether we are going to sign him or not, I seriously doubt it. Berlusconi chickens away from buying players every time he sees a big price tag. I think Benzema will likely stay in Lyon for a couple more years to mature and help the team he loves to win some trophies and then move on for a huge fee. If we change our management, we just might have a shot at him by that time.

i dunno why everyone thinks hes gonna be something, i think hes just one ordinary player with alot of hype cuz hes been scoring goals at a young age (just like huntelaar)..i advise u to drop all your hopes on this kid because he is not joining milan..

he is too young and too expensive for milan..if milan need a striker they'll go for a proven one next..we already have an experienced one and a youth prospect, the next one will have to be a guarantee. and he also is cup-tied so just forget it, if you want u can talk about him in the summer window but now, im just too worried that our management will not make any moves in the market

would you like to have a +29 YO player again :s ???
we need to invest in new youth and benzema is 1 of those youth players

If the 29 y o player is Amauri or Drogba i'd pick him anytime. I'd pick 30 y o Toni as well.

why pay 30mio€ for a player who can play max 2-3 years for ACM... think about investment...
if we pay 20-30mio€ for a 18-25 YO player. we can adjust our squad to him or him to our squad + he can player much longer for us, and could prove more importance.

i thought berlu and galliani were managers... so they should think the same thing... but football is something else then management

Hence why Ronaldinho would not exactly be a great investment for us either..But I still wouldn't mind seeing him join us over the summer, hehe

ronaldinhio is something else but still 50mio€ for 1 player. i would rather see 2 rather young amazing players.
although R10 is an investment due to marketing, sponsoring, ... milan would raise alot of money + extra fans + ...

Just look at the gilardino investiment..how much has he paid off, so far? Inzaghi paid off..despite we signed him when he was 27 y o.

I'm pretty open to the idea of Amauri (who is 27, a decent age imo) or Drogba really. The problem is in our current system we don't have the big target man up front, but instead poachers who need the support to actually succeed. Having a target man would be a step forward if we want to play a lone forward system. It would still require work with others in the team, but I agree that a player like Amauri or Drogba is highly beneficial for us.

Funny really, I was reading earlier that Toni said he'd actually signed a contract with us before joining Bayern

if its true what he says it shows that the management are pretty naive and have too much faith in some of the players. Toni should have been signed just to make us more competitive..
