Catania - Milan
important game and we play without Kaka, this game we must win if we want to be in forth place, but i'm sure that seedorf will play and we will win this game with a single goal scored by Pato.

this game seems overshadowed by Kaka's injury and arsenal next week. I'd play Paloschi, didn't he score both times against Catania in the coppa italia? Make it three
We need to keep on winning. Come on Milan! |

I would go for Pippo + Pato upfront

It's tough to call this match, we have to play based on what we have available. In that respect, I say this side:
-----------------Kalac------------------ Oddo----Bonera--Maldini-----Favalli- -------Rino----Brocchi/Emo------Ambro-- --------------Seedorf------------------ ----------Pato------Pippo---------------- That said, players that need changing (most probably in midfield) should be replaced appropriately. |

Seedorf will probably start on the bench, or finish on it early if he starts the match i think (referring to the last Ancelotti comment).
Paloschi needs, like Gourcuff, to play, but i wouldn't put him from the 1st minute on the pitch, maybe it could be more judicious to put Pato firstly with Inzaghi (or Gila) and then putting Paloschi in the 2nd half, replacing Pato. And if Gourcuff isn't on the pitch, that will mean he will almost not play until the end of the year, because with Kaka' injured and Seedorf back from injury (but with Lazio and Arsenal to play), if Gourcuff doens't play, it would be a real lack of confidence of Mister Ancelotti for him. Smells to me like a new draw without Kaka' AND Pirlo. |

i cant see even the conservative ancelotti using the xmas tree against catania.
the only team that has scored fewer pts than catania (20) is cagliari (19). prepare for another 10 defenders in the final 3rd all night. my lineup would look like: kalac oddo-bonera-kala-janku gorcruff-seedorf-max pato inzaghi-paloschi (but their is a reason i dont coach serie a) |

Last match with Palermo, we have watched 3 players: Barzagli, Zacardo and Amauri.
However, none of them actually impressed me. Barzagli and Zacardo defended well, but they has almost all team's support. Zacardo was not better than Oddo and Barzagli still has something to improve. Amauri tricked our defense many times, showed great skill holding the ball and dribbling. However, when we are counter-attacked, we has few men and used to hold position, so he has the space. Back then even Kutuzov could do. They are prospects for the future, and this match, we have another to watch: Juan Manuel Vargas. Lets see wether he could play for Milan. French football medias wonder why Juventus, Roma or Milan are going to battle for Amauri whereas there are so many other targets, at least as good as him, and surely less expensive (if he was evaluated to 10M €, it could be a good opportunity, but 25M € is too much).

but with catania sure to try and defend the whole game, i would like to see only ONE DM on the field, and i dont care if its emmerson, gattusso, brocchi.... However i look at ambro as a 2 way player, so i could re-define my lineup as g (rb)-bonera-kala-(lb) (dm)-(am)-ambro (am) (striker)-(striker) with gorky and pato starting |
