This team deserves every single thing that is coming to them right now, the injuries, the tiredness, the bad record, and the mission impossible that is beating Arsenal while not at full strength. Before Galliani and Berlusconi comes out and talk about how tired the players are, they need to take a step back and think about it first, why are they so tired? Did they not know that they will be playing a lot of games this season? Of course they did! They play a lot of games every year! Did they not know that there will be injuries to players? Every team has injuries, especially old teams! Did they not know that one player cannot play two games a week for a long period of time? Anyone working in the Milan lab could have told them that!

Since they knew exactly what is going to happen to these players, one would think that they should be prepared for events like this. The squad should have a lot more depth than the 13 player rotation they have right now. But for whatever reason, our management tried to outsmart everyone by being incredably cheap every single summer. This squad not only hasn't improved in depth and overall talent over the last few seasons, they have actually gotten worse in both areas over the last few years.

Who caused our players to be so tired? And who caused our records to suck this bad? Look no further than the lying bald bastards who are running this team right now. Yes, Galliani and Berlusconi single handedly caused all of this to happen. I hope we lose to Arsenal at home and gets eliminated from the CL and finish outside of fourth place in Serie A so the team don't qualify for next season's CL. That is the only way to teach Galliani and Berlusconi. More glory will only harm this team because the management can continue to bury their heads in the sand and think that the team is absolutely perfect as it is. Only a cold slap in the face and some serious financial issues can teach them that Milan should not be spending in the market like they are fighting for Serie B championship.

i agree with a lot of your points, but ancelotti also does not know how to rotate how can he have no faith in his whole bench, i dont hope we lose BUT the thing is your right if we make it to a semi or final then no changes will be made, we are also too cheap we need to spend more money.

Ancelotti is not perfect by any measurement, but I can't blame the rotation thing on him entirely. Looking at our bench, we simply don't have a whole lot of players who can step in and contribute. You mentioned Gourcuff in your post, but think about it, it is not that Ancelotti didn't give him opportunities over the last couple of years but he pretty much plays like crap every time he steps in. I loved his talent when we signed him but he is just not producing when given the opportunities for some reason. Ancelotti is not a good rotation coach, but with a bench this bad, I can't really blame him for not wanting to rotate players.

I think, it's mostly because we didn't plan well for this year. We already know from the beginning we would have soooooooo many matches but our management did 'nothing' with respect to signing players for bench.

I can't accept how Galliani blames that we have so many matches. We lack sub players. If he wants to blame, he should blame that condition.

I admire the boards bringing Milan in successful moments in CL but making an excuse of tiredness is unacceptable for me. If we had decent backups, we didnt need to play Pirlo, Kaka every single match.

It's funny how this statement comes out exactly when we are facing 2 of our biggest games this season, what else can it look like than a ready made excuse should we fail in either match!

I echo pretty much everything that's been said already. It's fine having players that are older, but it's pretty obvious when you have a schedule that'll see you playing every 3 days for 6/7 weeks or more that they'll become tired quicker and will be more prone to injuries. That's what happens with age. With a lack of younger/stronger players and no reinforcements bought, it's no wonder our squad is on the verge of breaking.

It's surely time for Galliani & Berlusconi to see how little faith Ancelotti has in some of the squad members, thus making the amount of players he chooses from even smaller. Despite what some members say, our squad has an inadequate amount of depth and quality. Galliani can't complain about tiredness when he (amongst others) said we needed no new reinforcements in January. His lack of forward planning could cost the team dearly and he'd have no one else to blame but himself. Lets face it, how difficult is it to look at the fixture list, see our hectic schedule, see the current state of the squad and determine how many new players we would need to be able to cope? It's not rocket science.

It really is time for an overhaul, take off the rose-tinted glasses and look at the squad objectively. If a player can't deliver over the course of a season then lets get someone who can.

If the likes of Kaka, Seedorf, Inzaghi are tired then why not the likes of Gourcoff, Emerson & Brocchi should be given a chance?? Till now I have not figured it out that whats the job of Emerson in ACM??

The problem is that some of the subs seem to not have the required level !!
Digao, Brocchi this year, the 2007-2008 Emerson, Cafu, Favalli, Simic, Serginho, these guys are fine but what do they still do in Milan ?!

And if we wanted them to be at the right level, Carlo should have put them on the pitch more often ... now it's too late, they will never be ready to play at this point of the season, because when they do 1 match, after 75 minutes, they are tired, and if you put them on the pitch 3 days later, they will get injuries, or will be able to play only 45 minutes, etc ...

So 2 mistakes: management with a not enough competitive team to play all the competitions we knew we were going to play (thanks to Catania, we didn't play more Italia Cup matches) ... and Ancelotti who made the same mstake this year that he did in 2005 (when we could have amazingly won all but lost all at the end).

I read the same posts i read one year ago before Celtic. We are in the same conditions as we were one year ago. Our condition can't peak right now, or we would fall short in one- two months' time. We are programmed to peak slowly in Spring, and this mean we can't be at our best now.

We must win against Arsenal despite not being in good conditions. This is the recipe and if we do that, our chances to reach Moscow will increase day after day.

But for sure, oneof the few reasons we are tired is that we simply lack freshness in our squad ( not first 11, squad ). Galliani knows it, but his lies are amusing if nothing.

We buy one 18 year lod boy and our whole squad goes up by 20%. With few players in the summer we would see flying Milan!

I'm sure Galliani will be saying 'I told you we were tired'. His ready made excuses are a joke.

Playing 13 matches in 40 days will make any team feel tired

if our average squad age isnt 31, and we had a decent back up for pirlo, kaka and nesta we could rotate the squad. Look at Inter, lots of different options everywhere. Thats why they are 18+ ahead of us, well that and lots of dodgy ref decisions.

When will all the anti-Berlu rhetoric stop? Yes we underperformed this year, if winning the European Super Cup, and World Club Cup are considered as underperforming...

Yes 5th place in the league is not where we should be, but I mean really..is all the venom directed at the management team that made Milan what it is, necessary?

Many of us here would not be fans if it were not for Berlu, and his investments to turn the team around from a side yo-yoing in and out of Serie B, into the "winningest" european club of all time?

So we have a "down" year thus far...elimination at a stage many of you are unused to, so spoiled have you all become due to the millions Berlu have poured into the club...2 trophys, yet some here want to tar and feather management because we didnt spend huge in the transfer market, after a successfull previous season, with almost miraculous achievements, based on all that we faced....

No, cant join this cacaphony of derision for the people who have been so instrumental in our success to date...no not at all.

I am upset, dont get me wrong, in the lack of reinforcements brought into the club over the past 2 seasons....but not to the extent of most of the posters here...whose attitude, I confess, is becoming tiresome in the extreme.

All the raging against management should be muted, in light of some of the recent happenings in the English Premiere League, with clubs being aquired by businessmen intent only on making a dollar, (or a million or so), or those with questionable eithics and behaviour...(Abramovitch and the Man City dude)...further to that, is the financial implications of some of these "take overs"...with Man U for eg, being saddled with 300GBP of debt....in case you didnt know, Milan has been in the "black" for several years now...while Man U, the worlds richest club, or one of, has 300M pounds of debt to deal with....careful what u wish for...

Dare we wish that upon ourselves?...Or are any of you posters (those constantly deriding management), billionaires with a few loose hundreds of millions of dollars in your pockets, burning holes therein, who wish to buy another "toy"? If Berlu would even sell in the first place...

"This team deserves every single thing that is coming to them right now, the injuries, the tiredness, the bad record, and the mission impossible that is beating Arsenal while not at full strength"...what sort of ridiculous nonsense is this? How could players, (albeit very well paid ones) playing through the pain barrier in many instances, deserve to lose? Because of the inaction of their employers? Where is the logic in that?

Kindly engage the brain before ranting people. Thanks.
