Torino - AC Milan ; 22/03/08 ; 15:00

A match we have to win ... Fiorentina will be playing against Lazio, so we will undirectly be Lazio supporters this week-end to enable us to come back on Fiorentina.

I don't know yet who will play or even be called, but it's obvious Kaka' is not going to be there.

So, this Saturday, at 15:00, watch the match !!

I'd be in two minds wether to give the players who played on Wednesday another chance or bring in some squad players (Bonera, Simic, Favalli, Brocchi, Gourcuff) who'll try alot harder (i hope).

The probable team will be:

Kalac, Oddo, Nesta, Kaladze, Jankulovski, Gattuso, Pirlo, Ambrosini, Seedorf, Pato, Gilardino

Out of those i'm not sure Oddo, Kaladze, Jankulovski, Gattuso, Ambrosini & Seedorf deserve to start. Another question is what kind of physical performance can we expect from them? These players can't cope with two games a week, so i dread to think how we'll play on Saturday.

I'd honestly start Paloschi over Gilardino. At first I was thinking that it would be a bit of an insult but the harsh reality is that Paloschi is doing a better job. Not that it's Gila's fault of course, because our midfield is DREADFUL and any player of his style would fail miserably with such horrible service. However seeing that our midfield can get no better before the end of the season, Palo > Gila for me.

Janku or Favalli is a tough decision because Janku had a disaster of a game against Sampdoria. I think I'll stick with him over Favalli simply because we'll need to attack Torino and not defend. Kaladze could even play LB if necessary which isn't a bad idea after all.

The rest will be the usual, Oddo over Cafu naturally. I'd start only one between Gattuso/Ambro and gamble with Gourcuff in midfield. Maldini over Kaladze if fit.

My lineup: Kalac; Oddo, Maldini, Nesta, Janku/Kaladze; Gattuso, Pirlo, Gourcuff; Seedorf; Pato, Paloschi

I was watching Italy vs. Germany in world cup 2006 and Gilardino actually could play 1vs1 and did very well; he is a completely different (and awful) player at Milan.

What happened? Just what happened to us?

one could argue that Ancelotti forces him to play supportive striker and show little initiative, however I strongly doubt that.

if i am carlo... i would start with a 4-3-3.. why not? it looked good on wednesday, we don't really need two classic destructive midfielders like Gattuso and Ambro, just one... and I don't have trust in Gourcuff, yet... so, like wednesday, Kalac - Oddo, Nesta, Maldini, Kaladze/Janku - Seedorf, Pirlo, Gattuso - Paloschi, Gila, Pato

or simply 4-3-1-2 with Pato in Kaka' role...

Yes mate, i think that we should play 4-3-3 and i like your fromation and players in it, but i will make a little change and instead of kalac i will play DIDA.
So: Dida - Oddo, Nesta, Maldini, Kaladze/Janku - Seedorf, Pirlo, Gattuso - Paloschi, Gila, Pato

Finaly guys, you woke up, i alwais say that Dida is more safely on the goal than Kalac.
This game for us is must win, so we will win it, for sure, guys i give my word, everytime when i said that MILAN will win, MILAN win, so don't worry.
And i realy like Gila to score, it more funnier when he scores.

Only 1 of Gattuso/Ambro is necessary for this game. In fact we could play neither and start Emerson who at least does a decent job of defending unlike those two have done nothing to help our back four. We need as many creative players as possible as well as both Pato & Paloschi up front. Their movement will keep the defense uneasy and allow Seedorf to make some runs up the middle.
