JuVentus - Milan

A big big big game for us..Its been a long time since we played at Juve's turf so this should be enough motivation for the players. After a great game against Cagliari, I hope we can put in another great performance vs Juve because we need it badly. We need to keep up the pressure on Fiorentina because you never know when they might slip up.

Juve are third place and are 4 points behind Roma and will be wanting that automatic CL spot (or maybe they even have a shot at the scudetto!).

This game will be Sunday night (April 13). Let's hope to have Gilardino, Pato and Pippo all healthy. We also need Kaka and Pirlo in that kind of form we saw vs Cagliari. It is clear the players still have it, it is just the approach and mentality.

Forza Milan, can't wait for this one!

first off i agree i cant wait and if we play like we did yesterday then it could be a brilliant game, the game is on saturday night april 12, and we have played on juve turf this season because we beat torino 1-0 a few weeks ago thanks to pato , we need kaka absolutly to the king.

FORZA MILAN!!!

Yeah, it was a great match.
It was one of those matches where the end result doesn't represent what happened on the pitch. Similar to Palermo-Milan match earlier this season, where Milan completely outplayed Palermo just to lose in the final minute.
At least 5 clear chances missed by Trezeguet. Normally he'll convert 4 of these, at least.

I believe Juve will play for the draw in this match. With 6 pts advantage and one game in hand, a draw will secure the CL place for them. That's not too good news for Milan because Juve are a typical counter-attacking team and this is how they've beaten Inter 2 weeks ago.
Milan also had difficulties against teams that counter-attacked them, with Sampdoria and Atalanta being the latest examples.

Later this week we'll know more about the injured players. Nedved seems likely to miss this match while Milan have huge defensive crisis.

If we beat Juve we will be 3 points behind them, making them our closest rivals to the 4th spot..however they have a game in hand against Parma which is a Juve win 99.9%.

You never know, with Juve on 58, Fiorentina 56, Milan 52, Samp 52, Udi 51 it's gonnna be crazy if Juve lose and the rest of the bunch win..

Fiorentina 59
Juve 58 (+3 points when they beat Parma)
Milan 55
Samp 55
Udi 54

I think we can do it, next is a crazy crazy week in Serie A, the top 7 will all play against each other, so it is our chance to climb up the table.

Juve - Milan
Inter - Fiorentina
Udinese - Roma

It's going to be really good, because theres a race for 1st place and 4th place. Serie A is all open right now! A draw in the Inter game and a Milan/Roma win would be perfect

This is close to impossible.
On second thought, it's absolutely impossible

I believe we're going to tie this one 0-0. At most it will be a 1-0 victory for either side (I say either side cause I always believed that this type of games are the ones we don't play like against Atalanta, or Empoli, and we put a lot of heart into these games, but at the same time Juve is playing home and Juve also play this games in a special way-mostly in a Machiavelli way-).

Thinking about results, I'm not sure if I ever witness a tie between Milan and Juve with more than 1 goal scored each. Anyone remembers one?

Beating Juve is the KEY. I really don't see how Fiorentina can take 3 points away from Inter. WE HAVE TO BEAT JUVE, PERIOD. Because even if Fiorentina gets a point from Inter, us beating Juve will put us only 2 points away from them.
It is the biggest game of the year for us, because almost certainly, Fiorentina will NOT beat Inter at the San Siro. This is our chance to get within a game of them. And then, one draw from them and we are back in the 4th spot and that is very possible because they play Palermo the week after and we play Reggina. This IS the biggest game of our season RIGHT NOW. We have to beat Juve.

Forza Milan!

I agree 100% WE NEED KAKA to be fit against Juventus. It won't be easy to blast Saint goalkeeper Gigi Buffon but KAKA can do it!!! Inzaghi CAN DO IT.
Come on guys... ideally, INTER can beat Fiorentina and we will have 1 point difference!

Awesome!!!

Who will win the big Clash FC JUVENTUS - AC MILAN for the Serie A Week 33 at the Olimpico Stadium?

I don't see anything else than a win ... for some reasons:
- the team probably got some confidence thanks to the match against Cagliari
- the team played some good matches away
- beating Juventus in Turin would allow us to put pressure on both Juv and Fiorentina and to have an enormous confidence for the end of the season

I think the guys will do well, one entire week to prepare the next match, the guys will be fit and they are always there for big matches (the only thing I don't want to see is: leading 1-0 like against Inter or Roma and finally losing the match ...).

If Inzaghi, Pato and Kaka are fit, and if Nesta is allowed to play (we have to wait until friday to know), it will be OUR match !!
