The kid just turned 17 years old in April... has been with Italy's U-17...

he's now listed as a first squad player... no number assigned yet...probably will not play one minute, considering others like Darmian are much more developed and still doesn't play...

any comments?

He is listed with first team player but not in Primavera squad. Does he really play only for Milan first team this season (without playing with Primavera)?

He was in the Trofeo Moretti team... I understand Milan was going to keep one of those kids, between Osuji, Albertazzi, Pasini, or Angelili... considering how many forwards we have now, and his good performance in the Olympics, I thought we were going to keep Michaelangelo Albertazzi, who would be behind Jankulovsky and Favalli in the LB position.

I also thought that Albertazzi would follow Darmian to be included in the Milan's first-team player because he played very well and solid in Trofeo Moretti. I have no clue about Pasini and I am still confused why his name is not listed in Primavera squad 2008/09.

Our problem is that our young players are not good enough. In junior competitions (Primavera, Beretti and Allievi) we were below Inter, the points difference were even so far in certain competition(s). This is a sign that we don't have good young players generally (with exception).

In other occasion, the clubs' coaches especially Ancelotti are hesitant to use young players even in Coppa Italia (this is understandable as our primavera quality were not that good). In addition in Italy the are only two local competition for senior team (Serie A and Coppa), so the possiblity to use primavera players or young players is only in Coppa. This is not like Premiership that has at least 3 local competitions, so the young players there can get much more minutes than ours as they have two competition for the young players (FA and League Cup).

This season we can hope that some of our primavera players (more players than past seasons) can have many chances in Coppa Italia because we have better Primavera team this year IMO. We have already watched and seen the quality of some of our Primavera players especially who were pretty good in pre-season like Albertazzi, Osuji and Strasser. Mitja Novitnic, the midfielder who is brought last summer and played for Allievi last season plays now with Primavera.
This season we also bought a midfielder from a german club, Alexander Merkel. A MM member here also said that we actually have (very) good young Goalie but in that time he played for Allievi, now he plays for Primavera.

Evani, who brought our Allievi Nazionali to win the Nazionali competition in 2006/07, is in this season given the responsibility to coach the Primevera. I just hope that these are signs that our Primavera team will do much better this season (compare to last seasons).

Both Pasini and Darmian played for the Primavera this past weekend. I guess they'll just train with the first squad but still play Primavera games.
