The only difference between us and teams like Madrid and Arsenal who've had an injury crisis is that these teams were playing well before the injuries came along and so they sucked terribly when they did. With us the problem is that we've already sucking. Let's see how much worse it'll get.

On sunday we will play without Kaka, Dinho, Seedorf, but we still get players which can show us a quality, Pato has individuality, Beckham and Pirlo has great passsing, and for sure we will outclass Samp, but but but but we have a greatest coach who when we lead in the game he change our not so attacking game to difensive. OK i dont want to talk about him .
My point is, for this game we need players and good formation. Becose we have nothing to lose this season, we must play this game sooooooooo ofensive, like this:

---------------------Abbiati--------------------------
Zambro------i dnot care--------i dont care-------Janku
---------Beckham-----Pirlo--------Flamini-------------
----------------------Pato---------------------------
------------Sheva------------Pippo-------------------
Guys, nothing to lose, we are far from scudetto, lets see good football, atractive and attacking, lets see goals.

ON THE MOOD AFTER THE GAME AGAINST WERDER BREMEN
“Looking the players in their eyes, I saw them motivated. The game against Werder Bremen highlighted some physical problems which surely are not resolvable in just two days, we must in fact aim on courage and try to develop our game.

“Even I feel that we’re going through a difficult moment, but from my part and the entire team there is the possibility and the will to reach the objective of returning to play the Champions League next year.

“Right now the team does not manage to express itself as I’d like them to and I must manage to solve this problem. However, football is not a physical matter only, as also the psychological and emotional components are important.”

This is from the official website. If what he said is true we should destroy Samp. with our "MOTIVATED PLAYERS"if not it's a bunch of bs as usual to try to give us fans hope.

I read that Carlo is going to use a 4-4-2. The last time we did that, we were realy bad. This team can't play that formation......as our defenders stay too deep and don't hold a high line of defence; our midfielders are slow comming out from our own half resulting in a huge gap between our midfield and attack; all this results into a scattered team on the field with no game plan and tactically incapable of keeping their shape (the most important thing when dealing with tactics).

BUT, who knows....maybe after that embarassment from Werder, these players will actually run and play with urgency resulting in good attacking build up and support up front. Carlo said that he will prbably opt for the 442 because we are out of trequartisa....something weird to me ,because Pirlo is just that and he can be damn good at it as well.

This is what I would play and would like to see judging from the players that are called up.

--------------Abbiati------------------
Antonini - Bonera - Senderos - Zambrotta

-----Beckham - Flamini - Jankulovski ----

-----------------Pirlo-------------------

-------Pato -------------Shevchenko----

Give Pirlo a more free role in the middle. Give him the opportunity to always be 30-35 meters from the opponent's goal. He was great in '03 - '05/6 right in front of the defence...but those times are gone. I've been talking about this the whole season. Opponents know exactly how to kill our midfield. What's the point of holding Pirlo 10 meters from our CBs??? We need a box-to-box midfielder, a.k.a '03/'04 Seedorf. If Seedorf can't do that anymore, then try Pirlo in that position (LCM). Why is Carlo trying to go through the wall with his head when obviously his formation is not doing the trick anymore. *I am talking about Pirlo to play a LCM position after Kaka/Dinho come back to fitness, so that's why I have him even more forward against Samp. But when Kaka comes back we should really let Pirlo play in the LCM postion.

Shevchenko can start not because he deserves it or that he's been performing well, but because we are so sad that half our team can't play twice in one week. (Inzaghi)

Let's just hope that we win this game so we keep our distance with the others that are chasing the CL.

We think exactly the same thing about Pirlo ...

But I don't want Senderos at all on the pitch, the only thing the guy can do with the ball is kicking in it (and so giving it to our opponents).

And maybe we should show to Beckham that he has to improve, so put him on the bench for this game ? The only problem is ... for who ?

Warro Bantan will become famous soon enough
I was hoping Carlo would (and he prob will @ some point) play Pirlo in a more advanced role...he is/was a tequartisti....isn't he?

Quality is something we should just about be on par with, if not slightly better than what Samp can field, considering the players we have available.

With Seedorf out, our attacks (if we manage to string more than 1 or 2 passes together) will have that much more pace, and this should offer our strikers (Pato + whomever) some good chances to score..

Attacking Samp, as opposed to just nicking a goal and sitting back, is our best (only ) bet, as its clear we can't defend a lead.

So if we take all our chaces IMO we will win this one....even if I am not that confident...its just the sort of match where if a few things don't go our way, we will capitulate...or not.

Let's see.

FORZA MIIIILAN!!!
