What to expect from these games:
- With this 36th game, there is still 3 games before the end of the championship. 9 points to win, 6 points between Juventus, 3rd and last team to directly qualify to the next CL, and Genoa, 5th and a place in UEFA Cup already secured. Everything can happen, especially with the current form of Juventus. Anyway, I'd put some money to bet on the final ranking: Inter-Milan-Fiorentina-Juventus (and then Genoa near Juventus).
- We are not concerned by them but there are 4 teams fighting not to go in Serie B (4 points between them).
- Roma has to win against Catania or they could be 8th this Sunday evening ...
- Inter should win, but with their current form, everything can happen, but a bad result there would make us regretting our non-game against Juventus.

What to expect from our game:
- If we win, we will be sure to be directly qualified for the next CL even if we lose the last 2 games ... if Udinese wins, they will still be in the UEFA Cup race ... if there is a draw, none of the 2 teams will be happy.
- We could see Nesta and Gattuso playing 15-20 minutes. Nesta said that he wanted to playsome minutes before the end of the championship, and Gattuso said he was ready to play. It would be a bit stupid I think to use them as starters, so let's use these last games to help them to recover and to prepare the next season.
- We need to see Pato back in the team from the first minute and we wait for a goal from him !!
- Most of our players will have to show something else than in the game against Juventus ... when I say "most of our players", I mean all the players who weren't defenders.

If we qualify for the CL this saterday, I think we'll finally get some answers about what is gonna happen to Carlo. If Inter win we win and Juve doesn't win the season will basicly be over, so I'll expect if Carlo is gonna be gone, then it might be announced this weekend.

Btw, why do you think Nesta is gonna be able to play?? As far as I know he isn't even training with the rest of the team at the moment, or is he??

Anyways, last time we played Udinese we played really well, one of the best games of the season from our side, hopefully we can repeat that It'll also be nice to see Zapata in action against us, in my opinion.

Where are u reading/seeing this news that Nesta might get some minutes?

He hasn't even travelled with the team for the recent friendly....or did he?
I don't recall seeing his name except on the list of players out with injury.

I agree with Geo that Pato should start, and I would sacrifice Seedorf (go ahead Dev, laugh, its ok ) so the Brazilian could play from the onset.

So Pippo upfront with Pato, Kaka as the AM.

Flamini, Pirlo and Max in the middle, and whomever he (ie Carlo) wants to playy in defense...

Should be an open game, and one I am looking fwd to.

Warro, I don't know if you mean only about the game against Udinese..and if that's the case then you are right, he most definitely will not play. But hopefully he'll make an appearance before the season ends.

There was also a report where Nesta says that his goal for this season is to at least play 20 minutes of football before the season's end. I was looking for that report also, but I can't find it. If I do, I'll post it.

Hey, now thats hurtful.... I think Mattioni had a decent game at right midfield

I get the feeling that this one's gonna be ours, just because the team always seem to play better when the games take on an additional significance (Maldini's 900th?). Isn't it just a great coincidence that he just happens to be playing the same team he debuted against?

I want Antonini and Gattuso back in the fray as soon as possible, those two play with a lotta heart, and really fire up the team when no one else will.

Udinese have been in great form and i think haven't lost in a while. It won't be easy.

Everything will be ok if we start with pippo and pato. Maybe Seedorf, pirlo and Ambro midield, with kaka as AMC.

I would definetly have prefered Pato and Superpippo in front of Kaka this time around. But at least we have Flamini and Pato, as oposed to the lineup some were fearing without Pato.

Udinese are in amazing form with five straight wins, and it looks like they have everyone ready except perhaps di Natale. It'll be a tough game, but if we win it we are sure to finish, at least 3rd, if Juve lose tomorrow and we win, then we'll be sure to finish, at least 2nd
