Just depends on how Abbiatti goes in recovery......

Also, hopefully we have Marchetti .lined up for next seaosn. If not, yeah we should get a young keeper. Perhaps Mandanda and Adler are out of our reach, but a good Italian one like Consigli would be great!

I think a goalkeeper is the LAST thing we need!
we need a striker/second striker
a creative midfielder
a central defender
a fullback

much more important than a goalkeeper. As abbiati did more dan OK last season!

And how do you know what state Abbiatti is in now?! Besides him, we don't have much.....

Well, why hasn't he feautured at all in any friendlies and Dida either. Both are injured, and will race to be ready for the season opener..... After that, we really don't have too much depth! Abbiatti's career is not over, but he has not yet fully recovered either. Assuming at his age, that the injury could become chronic, we may need to look at someone fo greater quality. Storari as our thrid choice, and Kalac and Dida to leave.....

Dida wont leave this summer! he will be 2nd choice wich is Ok, at least for one last year. (read: we are stuck with him for one more year!)
Abbiati is our first choice and will maybe miss a few games... but I dont think it is needed to buy another goalkeeper now as we still have kalac and storari. storari is more than OK as 3th keeper and kalac as 4th. maybe kalac will leave... at least I hope.
But as it seems we dont have too much money so why waste it on a goalkeeper while we have already 4 in the squad??

just on that, this is a GK thread. Still, I agree! We have so many players to get rid of, why haven't we arranged smarter deals? less money means smarter moves Milan, not just sitting on ur arse!

Maybe because we have no player like Keirrison to loan ? ^^

Anyway, I have no doubt about Abbiati coming back to his level again ... it's true that it would have been better to have a new and younger backup, but if for a last year, we have again Dida as the backup, no problem as far as Kalac never plays (Storari-Dida as backups is ok) !!
