Lazio vs MILAN
Ok I needed to get my mind off that draw to catania, so let's look ahead to wed. game.
I have not seen them play this season but we def. need a win or we're digging a hole we might not get out of. Geo just like last year add some of your football knowledge. My line up is Zambro-Nesta-Silva-Antonini Abate-Seedorf-Prince R80 R70-Ibra

If Pippo starts again or rather has to and Pato and Binho wont figure well we know Pato won't , and Bonera starts at RB again and Seedorf has another bad game then we will probably lose.On the other hand if Bonera doesnt play and Robinho starts and Flamini plays (could he ??) then we could win ofcourse , but Im a bit worried about this game and at the same time not because Lazio will not defend with 10 men behind the ball.

I don't like the RB/LB and I don't like our midfield like this... I think Coentrao and Jucilei are needed in January to complete the team, but that's a diff story for a diff part of the forum, |

Sigh...I dont know what to think for this match. Have to see Allegri´s starting lineup before I even make any predictions.
KVB for me has cemented his place in the starting 11.... Pirlo needs a rest Seedorf can play in his place Pippo on for Ibra if we arent leading with 20min to go...  dont have a good feeling about this match either.FORZA MIIIIIILAN regardless!!

I have a good feeling for this game ...
We have a good record against Lazio regarding our last games against them. I'd like to see our team with 2 strikers up front ... but it won't happen as long as Ronaldinho will play. I'd like to give a try to this formation: Amelia Abate - Nesta - T.Silva - Antonini Boateng - Flamini Robinho - Ibra - Ronaldinho Inzaghi Only 2 midfielders, but it's a bulldogs line, they will not stop running for 90 minutes ... and for example, Flamini can be in charge of the defensive game, and Boateng the attacking one, and if it happens that Flamini goes forward, Boateng can hold his position. So we have one of them always in our midfield to "counter the counters of our opponents" ... That would allow us to have a more balanced team with just 2 midfielders than when we have Pirlo and Seedorf with Boateng or Flamini. The problem with this formation is we have no more solution on the bench for our attack ... so it shouldn't happen. But we also have Seedorf and Pirlo who are able to reinforce our midfield if it's needed. More than any formation, I want us to win this game by playing like a team !! But I'm not sure we will really improve compared to our game against Catania. It's why I hope there will be the strike this week end, to allow us to quietly work for a whole week before facing Ajax and destroy them by showing to the world the real Milan !!

The 4231 with Pato up front and Ibra, Ronaldinho and Robinho behind him can be devastating: As long as there are no Pirlo or Seedorf in the lineup. Like you said, Flamini and Boateng (or even Ambro) can make it work and Robinho and the rest help out when we're under pressure.
I want us to start using a non-Pirlo formation once in a while, both to give him a rest and to inject some unpredictability. I think it can work! It's sort of how Fiorentina play right now.
