CL Round 3: Real Madrid vs AC Milan

3^ ROUND | 19 OCTOBER 2010
Real Madrid - Milan 20h45

VERY Important games coming up in CL, we cannot afford to loose twice. I'm not too comfortable on this one to be honest. Yesterday Real Madrid won 6-1 in La Liga, I hope they are not hitting top form

You see ridiculous scores in La Liga just like the EPL , teams are not as good defensively as in Serie A , and I think goal difference doesn't count in Spain (I think but I could be wrong) so teams may as well lose 10 -0 and have a go than lose 1 or 2 -0 and not have a go.
Mind you Im not saying that it will be easy and we will win , I think Mourinho will try to shut our attack down and be strong in midfield , and If we play Rino Pirlo Seedorf I do not think we will win.Boateng Pirlo/Seedorf and Flamini (if he doesnt assault someone) may be tha way to go with Dinho Ibra Pato upfront.Id play like this .

................Abbiatti.....................

Zambro....Nesta...Silva....Antonini...

Boateng...Pirlo/Seedorf.....Flamini.....

......Pato...................Dinho..............

................Ibra............................

He will play 4-3-3 so this is as good a lineup as we can play , Bonera at RB scares me and Abate would not strong enough in defence against Madrid so thats why I put Zambro.

Amelia
Abate Nesta Silva Zambrotta
Seedorf Boateng Pirlo

last season when we were embarrassed against inter, when mourinho deployed Sneijder to mark pirlo which basically made our formation pointless. Although they lost out on his creativity, it worked wonders for them as they had many more players who made a difference.

Surely mourinho will do the same thing this time around so maybe we should put a 4 man midfield to help out this time? what do you think..

We'll see who's fresh after the International Fixtures, but for the first Fixture which is in Santiago Bernabeu, I'd be more defensive. I'm thinking :

---------Ibrahimovic------Robinho-----------
------------------------------------------------
-------Gattuso--Pirlo--Seedorf--Boateng----
-------------------------------------------------
-----Antonini--T. Silva--Nesta--Zambrotta----
-------------------Amelia------------------------

Subs: Flamini, Pato, Ronaldinho/Inzaghi

* Seedorf can play in an advanced role, but it's important for Boateng and Gattuso to protect Pirlo, and run like mad. For this reason, perhaps the two of them should not play the whole game or at all against Chievo Verona which is 3 days before....

They will likely play:

------------------Higuain----------------
---------Ronaldo---Oezil----Di Maria-----
-------------Khedira---Alonso----------
Marcelo---Carvalho--Pepe---Sergio Ramos
-----------------Casillas---------------------

Zambrotta and Antonini will need to be ready for this. I could perhaps see Allegri looking to Abate instead of Zambrotta for speed. Real Madrid certainly have speed on the wings, and they love to attack with their full backs. They're quite a strong team, considerably stronger than last year. I think Oezil will act like Sneijder and be all over Pirlo... It's important for Seedorf to get into good positions, Robinho MUST be active if he plays and attack the open spaces left by Marcelo and Sergio Ramos.

At Home, I would attack with 3 strikers (Ibra, Robinho, Pato) but we'll talk about that then...

elmago i agree with everything but tbh id rather put zambrotta ahead of abate because of experience and zambrotta puts on an alot better defensive game then abate.. although abate is alot quicker and could create more opportunities. either way its not whats important the most important thing in this game is a strong midfield - we need to have pirlo in good form boateng to be his usual self and a more energetic seedorf. when it comes to ucl i have to say our veterans in midfield no what they are doing. seedorf never fails to impress in important ucl matches.. and i would also like to see ronaldinho play a more central role so his passing isnt so predictable and it alows him more space to create and shoot rather then playing on the wing . id put robinho and zlatan up front, tbh rm has a team of superstars there all WC players if not soon to be.

Since we have 2 weeks to prepare Boateng, Dinho and Ambrosini, I'd go with:
.....................Abbiatti.......
------Zambro-Nesta-Thiago-Antonini-
----------------Pirlo----------
-------Ambrosini----Boateng------
----------------Dinho------
--------Ibrahimovic---Pato-----

The best we can offer right now.

Also I'd give rest to Pirlo and Zambrotta vs Chievo.

Kaka posted on his twitter forza Milan just 2 weeks before this game. Shows you he really was forced out of Milan and he has always loved us.

LOL hitmann stop making Kaka out to be some victim. He clearly didn't mind going to Madrid because he could have rejected Madrid just like how he rejected Man City. I know he loved us..in fact he loved us so much that we have to sign his useless brother Digao and renew his contract every year just to keep him happy. I still think that selling him was a good decision. The problem is that we never replaced him.

yea yeah Mystik what ever makes you sleep at night, but fact remains that Berlusconi forcefully pushed out Kaka out to balance them books, or possibly because they knew of his injury. There's not much you can do if your own club is telling you we don't want you and you force on staying when you're the best player in the world. Normal people (unlike Jankulovski and Kaladze) have pride and self-respect and when told to get out, they would do so. Maybe they'd say no once or twice (like Kaka to Chelsea, Real, City before).

Anyway, good news for us is that Mesut Ozil is out for 2-3 weeks meaning he will miss game 1 at the Bernabeu and possibly game 2.

Don't worry. Kaka will be back ACM very soon. If Gullit & $hevchenko could re-join the club, then why not Kaka. Plust I don't think Kaka, Ozil, Cristiano, Di Maria could play all together so he will leave Real very soon

-----------------------

This time around, Real would be very tough to beat with Jose around If I am not mistaken, AC Milan has only managed to win 1 once again Jose out of 4 meetings. So he knows how to beat ACM. Some thing needs to be changed. & some one please tell Pirlo to try to shoot more on goal

Anyway, a 1-0 win at Real would be perfect for me specially if its a goal on a counter attack and even more sweet if its in the injury time

More money? well if he was going to Real Madrid he obviously would have abused their stupidity and asked for more money, plus that's what Real needs to do to convince him to leave Milan (even though he was leaving either way). If I told you HAVE to date Rosie O'Donnell (spelling?) you too would put in conditions and ask for stuff before dating her.

or if you're talking about wages increases at Milan, then I guess, every single player in the world is a money lover, from Messi to Dzeko, from Maldini to Nesta... all of them have wage increases.... every job in the world, when you do it well you will sooner or later gain a promotion with a raise.... so open up your eyes and just believe what you want to believe... you're just pissed 'cause Kaka left us when we were in a terrible state, but you chose not to see what was going on behind the scenes.

That's the fact. He gets much more money there.

Hahaha you can't share your opinion like that with me. If you can do that, it doesn't mean everyone can do that. Other can't even start to think like you think. LOL

Don't put Maldini Nesta the same sentence with Kaka. Maldini and Nesta (his relatives) never moaned about their wages. Never wanted wages improvement almost every year even just got new improvement.

You compare evil with angles there.

LOL I never pissed off because he left but I pissed off about that he lied to us. It is better like Sheva, told the truth even people think the reason is silly compared to lies, lies, and lies. But I don't hate him like crazy. If he comes here, it doesn't matter. What I support is Milan, not the player.

Until now, I only belive the fact I read. No facts supports Kaka like you thought. But it's up to you. Everyone can have their thought.

I don't think KAKA will return. He's injury prone, and past his prime. Milan have moved on, and will go for Jucilei, Pastore, Honda, G. Rossi before they go for Kaka again.... I'm sorry but this deal will not happen....
