I suppose Falcao is better than Silva but still an uncertainty, and old. And who's to say Silva will get actual game time at Monaco?

I don’t think it means that we wont buy players this summer. No player cares that much about EL. I think we will offload the players where our profit is the highest in regard to FFP, meaning players like Donnarumma, Suso and possibly Locatelli.

Absolutely, he has been mediocre at best. As far as I remember he gave away 3 or 4 pens last season.

exactly! All it'll achieve is improve his price. In the mean time we still need a striker... We're better off just giving him the chance ourselves or loaning him off to a Genoa... Loaning him to Monaco seems stupid to me

I think the idea is to acquire Falcao to better our chances of qualifying for CL.  It wouldn't be a bad idea if it's a straight loan with no option to buy
