Who is better between Rugani and Caldera?

I preferred Caldara, a better defender IMO. He have also proven himself in a weaker team.

Juve have no bargaining power at all. They are desperate to get rid of Higuain but there are barely any takers. I see Chelsea going for him if they get sell Giroud to Atletico. Even then, they will want a bargain.

Juve want a solid defender and went for Godin, but there is no way he leaves. So they are stuck with Bonucci. They need him more than we need to sell him. An experienced guy like Leonardo could exploit this. I won't be surprised if Caldara is included in the Bonucci deal and we come on top in the bargain.

Milan have identified Caldara as Bonucci’s potential replacement. Juventus do not want to sell him but Milan have no intention of giving up and will make another attempt. Each club evaluate their respective defender at €40M

So, Rugani has at least played in big club.

I was asking because Juve want to sell Rugani (news said he has agreed personal term with Chelsea only lack of agreement between Juve and Chelsea), which means there is possibility to also get Rugani (reportedly for 50 mil euros).

I think Juve put a price tag of 50M on Rugani and 45M on Caldara so it will be easier to get Caldara from Juve.

It would be funny if Caldara comes to us. Juve fans are being so cocky online, so sure that Caldara won't leave and that he is better than Bonucci.

Who is better between Rugani and Caldera?

Rugani showed great promise at Empoli, but his growth has stalled at Juve. Caldara on the other hand started developing later, but has performed with great consistency at Atalanta and is right now ahead in development. He's also proven the be a solid leader in the Atalanta side, having earned good experience in EL.

Bonucci is more experience but Caldara may actually have a higher ceiling, so Ladri fans may not be wrong after all. 

To be honest, I was surprised that Bonucci even reached the level that he was at. I remember that he had one good year at Bari partnering Ranocchio but it was all downhill from there. His only positive attribute was his offensive skills (long balls, and occasionally scoring balls), and he was known for a long spell of time for his clumsiness defensively. There was comparison between him and Bonera.

Man, Elliott is cleaning house on and off the field since their take over. Have to say, I absolutely love what I am seeing from them so far. The overpaid and under performing management and players are being thrown out of the club left and right. Bonucci was the signature signing of our mercato last year, but I don't think I watched a single game where I thought he was performing up to the level of his reputation. He is a good player, but hardly looked world class playing for us, and you have to wonder if he was more of a product of the Juve system or not. At age 31, he is also not getting any younger and only loses value every year from this point on. If we can swap him for Caldara, Leonardo would've already aced his first test in my book.
