Well Kovacic + Bernard would be one fantastic way to close out this mercato.

I'd say if we get Kovacic + Rabiot and a good winger (apart from Bernard) I would be very happy. It probably won't happen but we need serious reinforcement in the midfield and on the wings. An ideal situation would be Kovacic or Rabiot and a young talented midfielder with potential plus a good winger. Bernard IMO is a hit or a miss. 

As for Silva, I don't think Elliott will sell him considering that they want to build for the future. ALso coz of his hefty price tag that they won't be able to recover from a sale.

Bacca and Kalinic needs to go. Unfortunately it won't be easy, but basically:

Bacca wants to be somewhere else.
Everybody wants Kalinic to be somewhere else...

If Leo would somehow be able to pull this one off, the fans should build a statue of him in 24k gold right in front of Casa milan. SMS is IMO the biggest impact player we could ever imagine having. He is one of my personal favorites for his blend of athletic abilities, grit and technique.

Just read that and was coming to show my surprise too !
Leonardo really wants to bring us to another level ?! Kovacic, Milinkovic, Rabiot ... they are all sure starters in our current team.

Actually, what really surprises me is that suddenly, we win battles on the mercato for main targets who are wanted by other big clubs ... when we got used to give up a lot of players the last few years.

So I wouldn't be surprised if Leonardo really brings one of these midfielders in Milan.

PS : I thought Mirabelli did a good job with Fassone last season during the mercato, but Leonardo is at least two levels better ... he has real ideas, and there's been no drama so far.

Personally I’ve never had any animosity towards Leo, even when he was at Inter, and even his harshest  critics will have to admit that he has brought a whole different level of statesmanship to the club.
