So if he's signed and someone leaves because of it, it's not for depth. Unless we're exchanging RR for Rabiot. Anyway, I still don't like the Laxalt idea very much.

It should be said that Laxalt can play LM too, but if we sign him and exchange RR for Rabiot then it's good business

RR may hold the key to 1 of the PSG players. But in order for us to send him there, we need a replacement.

Laxalt is not bad. He will be no worse than RR was last season. Laxalt's not an improvement, but he's not a downgrade either. So if he allows us to possibly get Rabiot, then it's a no brainer.

getting laxalt means only one thing to me. RR going to PSG for one of Draxler or Rabbiot. given Suso and his agent met Leonardo few days ago, and us getting Castillejo (RWF) would mean Suso being Rome bound. In case Draxler comes, as a part of Suso deal we would get a Roma mid in exchange.

People going on like RR is prime Maldini. He’s an average player & slow AF. If Leonardo can replace him with Laxalt who is basically RR with pace & braids, why not? Flip RR in a package for a midfielder.

Draxler is more proven than Rabiot to be our creative midfielder? I mean did Draxler have better performance last season (or in the past seasons) compared to Rabiot?

It is funny how the real number (mentioned news) is 'hided' so that we can assume we only pay 3 mil plus bonuses for Laxalt. 

Laxalt according to the rumours cost 18 mil totally or 14 mil plus 4 bonuses. We have to pay this number, this the point. Money from Lapadulla is our money, we could use 11 mil for other targets if we need to.  

Genoa owe us 11 mil euros (Lapadula), they have to pay us. If the Laxalt deal includes the money, the price of Laxalt would not reduce, the number of money we pay that will be lower.
