If we're looking for another striker we should buy neymar.. i know he would cost a lot but these freebies and cheap players are most likely never going to be world class... i have hope in el shaarawy, but then again when you look at players in his age group like for example lucas of sao paulo you begin to wonder.. IMO i don't think neymar is the best young talent out there atm, i think the player who will be among the c.ronaldo and messis in the future is lucas.. i think neymar might end up like robinho.. i dont know if any of you quite remember but when he hit the scene at a young age he was tipped as the next pele and so on so fourth he was supposed to be what we now call messi.. he ended up just being world class, plain and simple just a great player, but not one of the best and imo having a super star player on the team is what makes things work.. we have a super star in decline(ibra) , i wouldn't say decline but he's not the ibrahimovic of his inter days lets face it + hitting 30 and already wants to quit football.. I'm talking we need someone like messi or cr7, someone like kaka when we had him and we won 07 CL.. we should start thinking about that and really looking into neymar,lucas, i really think we should've given lamela a chance because i like watching him on roma .. also i know im going to get alot of arguments about what i said about ibra but lets face it, he hasn't done much for us in CL when it really counted, the tottenham game reminds me of when we faced celtic in 07, lets compare ibra and kaka.. it was a dead locked game 0-0 , but in the end leave it up to kaka to take on the entire defence and score the winning goal, or look what he did vs man u, if it wasn't for him do you guys actually think we would've eliminated manu? definitely 100% not.. ibra will probably end up in the 20ish range with goals, and a nice amount of assists.. but then ronaldo and messi are scoring 40 goals a season (especially in bigger games) and probably doubling ibras assist tally.. Trust me all of you we need to buy neymar and take the gamble or lucas.. hulk is interesting as well .. he wont solve much now but once he's at his dominant age and form if we built the right structure around him we'll dominate again(in europe)..
IMO disagree with me as much as you want but i think playing CL you need fast pace.. sometime's were so slow because of certain players it makes me so nervous.. our midfield is soooo slow and our LB situation really makes me nervous.. counter attack may not be everything in football, but it usually starts from the midfield, once nocerino gets the ball, count that ball going absolutely nowhere, pirlo was an acception because he could pick out our attackers from almost anywhere, aquilani i like a lot actually, he can actually run shoot score and assist and pass.. mvb is good but hardly makes the run forward + isnt like last season.. i just honestly think we need a faster midfield + one more super star and we'll be good
