Donarumma is from time to time a match winner, Romagnoli incontrary is less decisive. If we are set to build a strong Milan, like in that past, Romagnoli cant be center of the project.

Romagnoli and according to his performances over the last years should be considered as today’s Costacurta..he is in this roster the best defender we have and IMO a player who has to belong to Milan’s core..we have now Kjaer, who is a very short time option and long term has to be combined with WC defender. Like we did summer 2002, with Nesta ?

Seems that Juventus’ arrogance and nepotism by signing everyone (last saga: Chiesa) leads to several problems.. Dybala the next victim after Bernadeschi..
would love to see him in rosonero jersey..

Any chance we can sell Donna to Chelsea for big $$$?

No. Without a new contract we won't get much in January and he is more likely to stay until the end of the season and then leave for free.

Our only hope is that he will extend his contract.

Dybala would be a dream signing for this team. Don't think it's very realistic though.

I'm not quite understanding what you mean. Your 1st sentence had me agreeing, but then I got lost and I'm confused.

I think comparing Romagnoli to Costasurta (in terms of status, not quality) is actually accurate. But then you said Romagnoli is the best defender we have, yet Billy was NEVER the best defender we had.

It's an interesting thought, comparing Billy and Romagnoli. As I said, in status, that could be great. Billy was never considered "the top" in Milan. There were always better defenders then him. But he did a job, a solid job, and he did it well. He complimented the others around him but was never considered "the most important" in the backline.

Similarly, I think Romagnoli can play the same role. He is not world class and it looks like he won't be. (Billy actually would be considered world class by today's standards...but back then there were legends of defending playing...some in the same line up as him). But if we were to get a world class CB, then Romagnoli can be the Billy next to him. Doing a solid job and complimenting.

Having said that..I agree with Hitman and others. To make him the 3rd highest paid player in the squad only to be "a complimentary player as I said", is not the wisest decision.

Probably not. They just got Mendy, so I immagine they'll stick with him for a while.

€5m for Romagnoli would be deserved.

The release clause is the huge issue. I'd take a 50m clause for no UCL. but can't have one if we make UCL

Would love Dybala. Could go to Juve with a swap deal. Dybala/Gigio

I'd rather sell Gigio to PSG or some other foreign clubs and use the money to get Dybala.

Dybala once rejected us, so screw him

You have to wonder why Jube want to sell Dybala 2 seasons in a row. You would argue he was the most improved Jube player under Sarri.

Is it because they hope to get 50M+ for him or because he is a lockroom distraction? Both?
