Since Lorenzo is versatile he gives good options for Pioli's midfield balance. 

Luca is an actual LB so we don't have to play Dalot or Calabria out of position should Theo need a break. I think he can even play LM.

I don't think Rube will let Luca Pellegrini go to Milan but I think we should keep an eye on an Italian LB playing in Eredivision, Giacomo Quagliata, 20 years of age, so far doing good there with his first start coming in November, would buy him in summer before Ajax or Atalanta...
