The point Arildonaldo made was that he WASN'T free. He also made a point that, what you called "buy players for peanuts", were not "peanuts"...and were instead some of the most expensive transfers in the world at that time. We can no longer make such deals. The players that you mentioned we should be buying are simply, more or less, impossible for us presently. Maybe in a couple years, once we are back in the CL regularly and our revenue grows to 350, 400mil....we can make such deals. But now, this is not possible.

Anyone can call Maldini a rookie. Criticize him, whatever. But right now, it's very very very hard to argue against anything he's done. He's doing an impeccable job, especially considering the circumstances and the state this Milan was in when he took over.

they were realistic deals money wise, far away from the expensive one as the difference between them was huge

Coco was highly rated as a defender in the early 2000s and late 1990s. He couldn't be compared with Krunic in current circumstances who is nothing but a deadwood. You think other club will swap Krunic with their best players, this is what you meant.
Forza Diavolo ale!!!

coco was silly defender ... you werent watching football at that time i am sure ... they were always comparing him to paolo and that put a lot of pressure on him an he was screwing it match after match ... he wasnt even near theo and i will give him a janklouski lower LB

coco for seedorf is like krunic for pjanic

HECTOR CUPER RUINED INTER THAT'S ALL and players started running away

Nesta was considered as one of the top 3 CBs in the world back then. Do you think we can now buy one kf the top 3 CBs in the world??? Back then it was realistic. Now, it is not.

Coco for Seedrorf....as Sleeping Giant said, Coco was considered a top LB at the time. If you go back, you'll find many people, media, etc, considering that deal adventageous for Inter as Seedorf was not having the best of performances there. The point though, is that it wasn't a "cheap" transfer. Yes, it was a swap of a sort, but we gave away a highly rated player to get Seedorf. Seedorf, even though as I said he wasn't having the best time at Inter, was still considered one of the top CMs in Europe. Again, back then, we could buy one of Europe's top CMs. Now, we can't. It's just not realistic. Name the top 10 CMs in Europe now, and tell me which one we could potentially sign/afford?

Yes, Coco was silly for Inter but he had great loan spells at Vicenza, Torino and Barcelona and was a regular starter for Italy NT at the time when Italy had sqaud depth of Mariana trench in CBs.

This is irrelevant and far from the point being made. Galliani didn't "screw" Inter. It's easy to talk after the fact. Hindsight is easy. At the time, this wasn't the case.

You can make the same case about Paolo now. You can say..."Paolo signed one of Italy's best CM's in Bennacer for peanuts", "Paolo screwed Real and signed Theo for peanuts".
I'm struggling to see what you are even suggesting. Because what you are asking for, is exactly what Maldini is doing...finding good deals for good prices. But if you think Dybala or whoever else you suggested can be signed...then no. This is impssible.
For Mazen convenience, Coco-Seedorf swap deal was as similar if we swap down Calabria for Stefano Sensi.
Forza Diavolo ale!!!
