Winter mercato 2021
Welcome Meite. I hope he'll be a better back up for the CM department then Krunic.

On that picture.....
Fire whoever gave him the Harmont & Blane shirt. It came straight out of the packaging and it's not pressed. It's all wrinkled. What the hell? I thought Italians were the fashion experts.... Big Grin
Why do we keep talking about Galliani as if he made all these amazing deals?
Am I the only one that remembers Roque Junior? Ricardo Oliveira? Onyewu? Moreno?
Plus the deals that needed to be made to sign Seedorf and Kaka? The fact we had to sign the brothers and pay them a wage (much like we do with Antonio)
Deals like Destro and Bertolucci? Under the table favours and high manager fees?
It's easy too only look at the positives but there were also many negatives. Either way it's 2021. Stop looking to the past and let's concentrate on what's going on now.
Happy with the Meite signing.
Still hoping we sneak in a RW signing as well as Mario to help up front. Should be looking at strengthening the team to keep top spot. We can look at replacing dead wood more permanently end of season

Funnily enough when we rated summer 2020 window I rated management low but some fans expectations are totally out of step with reality.

Maldini is seeing that we are first and he is taking a relatively cheap gamble, if Mandzukic was currently playing and scoring in a top league he wouldn't fit the 'relatively cheap gamble'. This is not debatable, I am not sure what's the point of me even typing it Big Grin

The cheap gamble is that additional depth is always good, be it 20 year old be it 35 year old. The reason you would try to opt for the 20 year old is because you want to build more for future but Maldini is looking at help for right now because I am 100% sure management didn't expect to be first in January.

AC Milan have signed Brazilian international Kaká from São Paulo FC for a reported €8.5m.

He is foolish
Forza Diavolo ale!!!
So it appears Tomori is very close to Milan (Fabrizio Romano).

I don't know anything about this guy. I've never seen him play. All I've read though says he's super fast and accelerates like crazy. A couple youtube clips quickly confirmed that to me. I guess it still remains to be seen what kind of deal this will be.

Btw, I figured the best place to get good info on Tomori is a Chelsea forum since they've obviously watched his every game. From looking around there, they seem to rate him. Many are disappointed that he doesn't get enough (or any) game time. Some say he should easily be a 3rd choice CB for them.
On what he has...most recognize that he has some good tools to be a great CB, but also he's made several errors in the past that's likely the reason he doesn't play much.

Galliani is not off limits when it comes to criticism. But it's a mute point so no reason to go on about it.
