So we'll have a kid and three injury prone players. Two of them close to the retirement home. I don't know, but I think I'd be disappointed.

Despite Sampdoria’s attempts to get a loan deal for Samu Castillejo over the line on deadline day, the player has rejected the idea of a loan move.

The negotiation with Milan seemed to be successful with the Rossoneri accepting of the idea of loaning the Spaniard out, but the player’s will was decisive in the end as Castillejo said ‘no’ to Sampdoria.

Despite Samp’s attempt to convince Castillejo over the phone, the player is determined not to accept the loan and to remain at Milan until the end of the season. Given he would have linked up with ex-Milan boss Marco Giampaolo and he is not a part of the club’s plans, it is a surprise.

Terrible player with a disgusting attitude. Would rather pick up easy money than play.

He was tremendous in the Euro last year though. I think he has potential to be a major force at the CF position, a position that doesn't have a ton of depth worldwide right now. I would love to get him if we can afford him because he has the tools to be a superstar CF and we cannot afford to sign any of the established star CF out there.
