I would still say to cut that money on a CB. Botman is too expensive and not really a need of an hour. Making a big RW signing someone of Raphinha stature should be our core target. Sanches is injury prone, need to think twice/thrice before signing him.

I will always go against the majority opinion and say we have to get Botman or Bremer. I'm not ready to go into a new season with an injured Kjaer and Romagnoli who's just soo unreliable, leaving Tomori-Kalulu as the only solid CB pairing. And I also don't believe getting a CB automatically exclude buying a RW.

CB, RW, ST, are all within our budget range. Especially considering the ST is coming for free - highly improbable Maldini will spend 30m on Scamacca when the likes of Origi and Belotti can be got for free. So you virtually need to set aside money for CB, RW and a Kessie replacement. That is likely to be 50m-60m. I wouldn't think that's an impossibility.

Multiple rumors now out saying we've agreed a 33M deal for Botman. It was stated a month ago that we'd already agreed personal terms and jist needed to find agreement with Lille. If these romirs are now true, it means that Botman will be the 1st signing of the summer for us.
