Their nationality was never the problem. Just like any other nationality, we have to sign the right players. If they're Spanish, Ukrainian, Dutch or Colombian doesn't matter much.

I'm pretty sure Sergio Ramos, Raul, Iniesta, Xavi and even Torres at their peak would have done well at Milan. Castillejo, Jose Mari, Javi Moreno, Diaz and the likes? Not so much...

Cash will have to be spent especially in attack which is non-existent currently.

Do you know that these signings are actually all (paid)loans and most of them will be send back without buying them. We had limited budget and spend all budget on Maignan, Tomori and tonali. We are not PSG who have unlimited budget.

Sure, we had budgetary issues, but that still doesn't excuse every signing being a massive failure. If we never properly scouted and identified these players as right fits, then we shouldn't sign them even on loan. Maldini has overall done a good job running the team. But a more productive mercato last summer would've resulted in a scudetto this year.

The transfers were actually paid decent money on were all spot on! The others were all gambles for no money or low risk. Offcourse mistakes were made, but overall is was a good market with signing Maignan, Tomori and Tonali. 3 starters.
If we can sign the same quality but this time in attack this summer scudetto is ours next season!

Milan are expected to terminate the loan of Tiemoue Bakayoko early.

Calciomercato.com report Bakayoko’s last match with Milan was back on January 17 in the 2-1 defeat against Spezia at San Siro, and since that day Stefano Pioli has not used him even once.

Bakayoko returned to Milan last summer on a two-year loan with an option to buy for €15m which becomes an obligation under certain conditions: 15 appearances of at least 45 minutes in 2022-23.

You had to bring up Bakayoko....  I actually forgot that he was still on our roster.
