Summer Mercato 2022

Embarrassed for most of the night. That midfield and defence is so average. Bonucci, Sandro and Danilo are all past it. We'll see how Bremer settles. Locatelli is nothing special and unable to play at high tempo or press. Zakaria is average. Pogba out for several months and they also just lost Mckennie for several months. They actually have a young CM that played yesterday (Fagioli) that looked better than both Locatelli and Zakaria.
If the attack clicks, it can be good for them (Vlahovic, Chiesa, Di Maria), but we'll see. One is coming back from ACL, the other really does look like the Serbian Piatek so far.

All I see at Juventus now is names. Half are overpaid "have beens" and the other half are overpaid "to be stars" but are nowhere near and at this point highly unlikely they will become that. Add to that an old school coach who wont budge on his negative ways...and you have Juventus.

Spot on, I am just not impressed with this Juventus. All names but dreadful performances. Inter is our closest competitor but our team is good enough to beat them anytime. The only thing we don't have last season is squad depth, we are already much better this coming season with a few additions. We just need 1-2 more players and our squad will be among the best in Italy.

Are you saying that our squad right now isn't among the best in Italy?!?

Top 3, top 6, top 10?
I haven't read any alternative move for Bakayoko or Krunic.
Haven't read about Saele or Diaz leaving either.
But apparently Gabbia will go to Sampdoria if we sign a guy.

This means MM's priority is a CB.

At the end of all meracatos, we always believe there are positions we should have improved.

I won't be surprised if the CB will be our last signing.
Yea Juventus is definitely not a complete squad. Again hearing the names is all good and stuff but Pogba and Di Maria are hardly at their best and Vlahovic doesn't really impress me. Locatelli for me is just as useless as when we sold him, he never impressed me and still doesn't at all. I wouldn't take him back at Milan for free and I genuinely mean that. He wouldn't start a single game if it was up to me. Zakaria is a meh player too.

To be really honest, my opinion is that with another couple of signings we are by a distance the strongest team in Italy perhaps with Inter close by. With Pioli's system of pressing and players like CDK, Leao, Origi, Adli, Theo, Calabria, hypothetically a midfielder like Renato... We'll have too much pace and stamina for any team in Serie A imo we'll overrun any team like a train. I'm excited for this season, because last season we scraped by but if we end this mercato on a high note I think we blow by this season and get that second star.

I think I should change that to our squad will be the best in Italy by far with 1-2 more additions.  Icon_lol2

Okmilan 100%. On paper sure teams have better players than us, and not to mention NAMES. Pogba and Di Maria has good names, but who cares when we press the shit out of them with our massive pressing and players with extremely high tempo. I think we can create hell on earth for all the teams in Italy if everyone stays fit, and CDK becomes a success:

1: We are the team that stays with the highest line in defence. With the speed of our CB,s its no problem. This is hugely influential for our dynamics.

2: We have a young squad, and human nature says that a 22 year old body can run more than a 34 year old. Thats a fact.

3: No teams have more X factor players than us. Leao, Theo, Zlatan, and possibly Adli/CDK. Juve have? Maybe Chiesa, and maaaaybe Pogba on a good day. Inter is about the collective.

4: We have system which have been developed for almost 3 years now. And it keeps getting better and better and always with development. Just look at our inverteted fullback tactic.
You could see it also today against Marseille when Messias got a great chance from Calabrias pass.

5: We play extremely unpredictable in attack, and even more now with CDK and Adli, and possibly Origi. No one has a certaint spot in attack, bot moves a lot and creates no referance point for the opponent. This is pretty similar til Man City, especially without Haaland. Pioli admire Ciry and Pep, so i can see where he is going with this.

Bottom line, we can be really dominant if we stay healthy and get another CM. Pobega and Krunic is OK, but our level on midfield will drop quite a bit if one of Tonali/Benna is injured for a long time.

Cant wait to the season is underway guys! Smile

Some reports say Rino wants Bakayoko at Valencia  Proud

Ah, the Italian purge continues. Icon_lol2

Gabbia and Daniel gone , Who's left? Tonali, Calabria and Florenzi. Missing our quota here.

My only solution for Saelemaekers (since it seems no one wants him) would be to hope our new buddies (Eintracht Frankfurt) could take him in exchange for N'Dicka.

1. Gets rid of Salad.
2. Gets us a quality young CB.
3. Gets rid of Salad.

It looks like we are still waiting for Sanches but I am completely  ambivalent with him coming or not right now.

An Italian LB is what we need. Can't be worse than our debuty LB, right? So why are we so reluctant? No idea. Let's dont forget Pobega.

Well if they are clever enough, they will never sign Salad. but sure, would love to see him in Germany permanently!

I knew I was forgetting someone.

For LB I always like Parisi. The last I heard he was possibly going to Lazio or Atalanta,  not sure if he did move.
I still think we need at least 1 midfielder if not 2.

Tonali, Bennacer, Pobega, Krunic, Bakayoko MAYBE Adli.

We're very thin and when you consider Bennacer can be injury prone or have patches of no form it makes you worry a bit.
We'll be relying on an inexperienced Pobega who may or may not be Milan quality.
A guy that can't play well against any team, not in the top 8 (Krunic).
And possibly one of the dumbest guy's in modern football (Bakayoko) who despite having all the tools doesn't have the brain's to not make a stupid pass or get two YC in 15 minute's.

Could Diaz be transformed into a CM ? Probably not.

So I hope we can get another decent CM or two.
