I really wouldn't be surprised if Pioli is fired sometime around Christmas. I think people have a misconception about management's view on him. Folks think management loves him and wants him to be the coach, when in reality, they likely kept him around to stabilize things after Maldini/Massara/Ibra all left. Not only is the team regressing after spending a lot of money, but Pioli himself is starting to get really defensive and even his own players are starting to turn on him. I think the end is near, and if the results keep going south, it's just a matter of time before Red Bird sack him. If Red Bird didn't hesitate letting Maldini go, I don't see why they would not do that to Pioli

Seems my prediction for him gone in december wont be so far off after all. We have always started the season well with Pioli, before hitting a rough patch in mid-season.

First there was the back and forth between the coach and captain Davide Calabria after the match in Paris, then the strong reactions from Olivier Giroud and Rafael Leao after they were taken off in Naples. Pioli then got up angrily at the Napoli press conference after a question he didn’t like and left the room.
