+ the 50m transfer budget we’ve already got, that leaves us with some good money for the mercato.
Maybe add some money from sales of Saelemaekers/ pobega/ Colombo / Maldini

I dont want to sell Mike, but to raise some money he is the first of Leao, Theo, and Mike we should sell. Easiest to replace too. 

But im starting to having second toughts about Zirkzee. Yes he has important qualities, but he lacks the most important one, to be prolific enough. We need a Lautaro/Haaland type of player who buries the chances. We have lacked that kind of player since Zlatans glory days(2011). 

David who was in the basement in 2023 has exploded again in 2024, and is that kind of prolific striker with important attributes too as explosive pace, agile, good movement. He will probably be the cheapest too. Sesko a player i am very fond of will cost 50 million. Zirkzee will be impossible if Man United goes all in, or Bayern want to rely on him. The most realistic alternative is David, and it could be a good one. 

Pulisic- David- Leao would be a devastating attack on paper. So much pace, flair, movement and technical abilities. 


Buongiorno looks great but if we need 40 million to get him, no way. We must use our money on more important places as a proper RB, DM, and a quality attacker. Thiaw- Tomori is a great couple. Tomori is class, Thiaw needs time and consistency.

The priorities for me are CF and CM/DM. I also don't think we need more then 2 signings in those positions, so I hope we go for quality over quantity. We have plenty of quantity already.

After that, it would be nice to upgrade at RB and have an adequate backup for Theo.

In terms of a CB, we probably need one...although I don't think it's a priority. I realize I may be in the minority on this...but I don't see our defensive troubles and conceding many goals as a sole problem of the defensive department. I think it's a problem of team defending rather than just the defensive unit. We lack adequate compactness and cover. Hopefully a slight change in tactics and a top DM can solve that.
Also, I still believe that Thiaw can be a great pairing with Tomori. Hopefully that happens and we don't need a starting CB this summer. On Kalulu...I'm not sure what to think. I still believe he is a true RB but injuries have prevented him from becoming anything really.

So yea....spend almost everything we got on a CF and DM. True quality players. Then we can plug some holes in the back (RB/LB/CB) as needed.
