Jonathan David has agreed to join Napoli in the summer, allowing them to take a step forward in the race with Milan and interested Premier League clubs for the Lille striker.
So..thats soon to be done.

Agree. But I'm very hesitant to place Motta in the "better than Pioli" category. One season doesn't do it for me. Not saying he is not, but it's a huge risk. But there is something exciting about him and what he's doing at Bologna. If he can bring that to a big club, there's definitely top potential. 

I'd add Conceicao from Porto to that list. He's been there aince 2017 and has done a great job. He's also familiar with Italian football having played in Serie A in the 90s/early 00s. 

And I'd take Conte off the list. Not because he's not better than Pioli. Of course he is. But I just don't think he aligns Milan's vision as a club. It's not gonna be long before he's clashing heads with the management over players that he wants/doesn't want. 

If I had to create a list, I'd say: De Zerbi, Conceicao, Motta

Thats a very good deal! Reasonable. I wouldnt mind us hijacking that deal.
Zirkzee remains my favourite, but we should not pay a ridiculous price for him.

I agree Motta aint proven to be better, but he for sure has the potential. Something Pioli doesnt have, he has reached his ceiling and IMO it will only get worse. 

He has been manager for a lot of years and that scudetto year with us was by far his best time in his career. Let Napoli take him so that we dont have to pay out his contract

More links towards Lopetegui. I read most Milan arent happy with him, but I dont know him well.
How bad is he?

He's the guy who got sacked by Spain few days before World cup, because he shouldn't keep his mouth shut and bragged about taking Real Madrid after tournament. Than he got fired from Real after three months because of disastrous results.
Don't know what he did after that, besides he had one "adventure" in EPL, he was fired after few months from there, as well.
