But we gonna end up with Fonseca or van Bommel aren’t we!?

How good is Pochettino really? I mean, he did well at Spurs. Was probably ok at PSG, but who wouldn't have won the league with them? His period at Chelsea has been underwhelming.
"Good coach" and "Pochettino" can't go one with another.
Come on, he's spiraling for years now.
Second, go at the farmer's market, pick-up random grandma' from there, put her on the PSG bench - she'll won French league. This "good coach" failed there. Seriously, I'd rather take Rudi Garcia than him Big Grin
Avaiting for arrival of exorcist into our boardroom.
Schira: Paulo Fonseca is getting closer to Milan as new coach. Positive talks in the last hours to finalize the deal. Agreement in principle for a contract until 2026 (3,5M/year).
Stuttgart directors were apparently at Casa Milan for a meeting today. I know the name Guirassy from there and we've been repeatedly linked with him. So maybe the meeting was about him? On the hand, it's not ofter that the selling club visits the buying club for a deal. So this meeting could be about one of our players going to Stuttgart. Who knows

He doesn't have winner mentality. Spurs got inside his genes  Icon_lol2 But playing style wise he is good tho
Forza Diavolo ale!!!
What about Fonseca? It seems that Motta is almost signed with Juventus.
I personally never wanted Motta. I feel like he was too much if a risk. He might be the next great thing. But he might be a 1 season wonder. For us at the moment, we need something more stabile. Someone in the middle of those things. I guess RDZ (although not my favorite) would be that. I don't know what to think of Fonseca. I guess we'll just have to judge him once he gets started. At the moment, I'm not fulled with enthusiasm.

Did ok at PSV before a short unsuccessful stint at Wolfsburg and then he won the Belgian league title for Royal Antwerp last season, their first win in 65 years or so. They even won the Belgian cup and supercup too. Might be a coaching talent for all I know.

I remember seeing somewhere that van Bommel's team won 1 game in the past 10. So, I did a quick check and it seems to be the truth.  Icon_lol2

He will take over Pioli perfectly. Grinundwech

That's probably why he was so compatible with Spurs.

Agree. Not sold on Motta at all despite the great season he had.
I want Conte or De Zerbi.

Considering the price of most top strikers out there, Guirassy has a low buy out clause (I think 17m) but will probably come with a hefty salary, reportedly his agent was demanding 6.5m net. 30 goals in 30 games I believe was his tally this season. He's also 28 years old, in his prime prime age. I would welcome him for sure he's a top striker at the moment. Wouldn't be my first choice but he's definitely an instant improvement to what we've got and is starting level for the moment.
