I don't think Fofana will wait a year for Milan. It would surprise me.

Cardoso is not typical American. Born in USA to Brazilian parents and moved to Brazil when he was 3 months old and grew up there. Holds an Italian passport.

Hey man the first couple of seasons, Kjaer was great. In fact if he were healthy he would play great in this defense. If Pavlovic is a cheap Kjaer, I’d be thrilled.

Fofona doesn't love Milan that much to wait for one year (there will be huge pressure from Monaco).
Even if he ends up leaving on Bosman, he will go to other teams that offer much higher salary.
Even if he ends up leaving on Bosman and still wants to come to Milan, his agent will ask for a lot of commission. 

There are now "analyses" coming out that Fofona isn't truly what we want, because he is not pure DM. (I used the quotation mark on "analyses" not saying that they are right or wrong, but more on timing of them. What do you guys think?

I think they are using that excuse because they know they are too cheap to pay for him and they think they have the trust of the fanbase that we will believe it. So far Furlani, Moncada and Ibra haven’t proved anything to us other than incompetence. Continuously missing out on targets. I’ve never seen a club jump from wanting one player to another in my life.

Let's not be so harsh.   but yea, I can certainly appreciate your sentiment. I have felt quite frustrated too. 

I am more curious now with Emerson. I was completely at a loss with this one, but sincerely hope that I will be proven wrong.

Cardinale is more interested in building a commercial brand than anything else. Other than Leao, who is really that marketable? Maybe Pulisic in America. Theo isn’t as appealing because he’s not an attacker. People love strikers and attack minded players. Obviously it’s different if you’re talking about a Maldini, Ramos but those are generational talents. I was at Milan’s final game against Salernitana and I didn’t go so I could watch Gabbia, Calabria or Mirante. I wanted to see Leao, Giroud, and yes Theo. You need to bring in difference makers on the field because they will become difference makers in the clubs coffers as well. Without the players, the stadium is useless. These companies who make deals with us want to be associated with winners. Not Chukuweze.

See, I'm not saying we are buying Cafu. But tell me the options please. Stay as we are with Calabria? Aren't you tired of that dead side for the past six years?? And please don't mention Kalulu, for the simple reasons I stated in my earlier post. And it's €15m for God's sake! Tell me where you can get someone with his experience, an international, for that price.

And fans can be wrong, you know? Same way management can be wrong about a player. So Spurs fans saying he's bad, well, yeah he's been their player, they've seen him play. But that doesn't automatically make him a terrible player. Club and playing conditions can affect players performances. We've seen that countless times. We've taken Chelsea "rejects" here and they've all been successful in varying degrees.

So, the verdict on Emerson Royal might be he's a "bad" footballer. Maybe, maybe not. But, for 15m, I'm willing to give him a chance and see how he does here. Bottom line, I've seen enough Calabria. I welcome this change and hope it works out.

Are you suggesting we should have gone for Mazraoui instead? Even more expensive, probably higher salary and extremely injury prone. Missed 20 matches through injuries or fitness problems last season alone.

Interesting Anthony Martial is still without a club? I’m not sure what his salary demands are but he would be helpful playing all three roles behind Morata.

Let’s not hate on Royal yet. EPL style kills a lot of players. Look at all our Chelsea rejects succeeding. I wouldn’t take failure at one club as a litmus for overall failure. At the very least he is bigger than Calabria and less injury prone. Let’s not forget Calabria is like a 40 year old man.

Still waiting for some outgoing transfers looking at Adli, Salad and Kalulu (as the fifth CB and third RB he is too redundant). I imagine those are weighing downour market significantly as squad size limits us in competitions.
